I've read it's a loan with them willing to pay 2/3 of his wages.

That would be a shocking deal imo.

Grabbam is away so we'd need 2 strikers
Bad deal indeed as for all his effort Vaughan is not clinical or effective and his attitude here could be telling as Coleman dseems to like him. Two forwards needed (one could be Maja from the start of a game) so just 1 addition forward plus combative midfielder, a robust playmaker plus a solid experienced man mountain at the back.
Think we can wing it with Reiuter in goal for now if we protect the defence.
We need to fill in with more academy star players though.

Like Marcus alonso was not rated at the time. We need the Soton scout here. Jake salter would be good as well.

Leicester manager Claude Puel has said he wants to offload a striker and is willing to let Ineianacho, Ahmed Musa or Leonardo Ulloa leave.

Wonder if we could tempt them with a loan offer for Ulloa. At this level he'd get goals and is a unit that would fit the system far more than Grabban.

I recall Hull being heavily linked with Musa on loan in the summer. Whilst not being the type of forward we need I think he' tear this league up with his pace

I'd have any of those three. The fact that I would take any of Leicester's reserves and think that they would genuinely improve us is a sign of how far we have dropped.

Of those three Ulloa is the one we'd want, Iheanacho is more or less like Grabban and looks just as sulky, and we don't really need wingers. In an ideal world we'd have all three but you know what I mean, we need a reliable target man more than anything else.

Has Ulloa played much football this season?
Were good at signing players who aren't up to speed and need three months to get match fit.
If he's not fit then no point in signing him however much he might suit our present predicament.

I think he'd be fine, it's not like he's returning from a long term injury I'm sure he's been in and around the first team on and off. He'd probably be the fittest player in the squad.

Apparently, we have enquired about Jon Walters on loan. Got to be better than Vaughan who continues to be linked with a move to Wigan.

I would be happy with him

Same here I've thought for the past few years we should make a move for him, think he'd be very useful for us.

It could be his last hurrah here as if he gets the goals and provides a bit of physical prescence he could be part of our promotion winning team next season.
