You have plenty of form for inside info over a number of years mate. You don't need to justify yourself. If the knackers over there want to twist your words, try to prove you wrong or call you names then let them, I find it fascinating that they still talk about you even when you aren't on there anymore.

Then again, as Oscar Wilde said - There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about

I don't post a lot ,but have been on there since 2002 and its completely unrecognisable from the early days. it came across that they hated the idea that you knew more than them and had a connection with internal happenings .. very immature and insecure behaviour. Part of the fun is talking about ifs and buts .. who cares if its wrong/right in the end ..

Appreciate the update.

I never get what I can only assume is envy that people might hear bits and others don't. Ultimately I'm sure we'd all prefer to hear bits that get shared rather than nowt at all! At the end of the day we all just want positive things to happen to the club.

I’ve literally just posted that. It’s bordering on spite how people treat others who might hear bits and bobs.

Fair enough that mate. If we get Defoe and a Stewart type them no problem. For what it is worth I think Johnson might fancy him anyway. I sometimes look at our bench and think sooner Johnson than me trying to find someone to give the team a lift. Defoe would just have to warm up for the crowd to get a lift

That's the whole point of it and I'm sure that posters on here appreciate any bit of info you provide. You cannot be held accountable if a signing doesn't come off but it keeps threads like this as well as the excitment about it going and we await the outcome

...and that is where it should stay, as fun.

a bloke could be sat ready to sign on the dotted line when his agent gets a call that means more money for him and they are off...all info posted in goodwill is appreciated and most of us understand that until 'mr player' is stood with his scarf pic and plastered all over the main club website that anything can happen.

there are of course, those who dwell in forums waiting for the chance to tell someone they were wrong, continually feeling the need to keep doing it and that is a mentallity i have never been able to grasp, to me it seems a sad existence.
