Ha, I see a lot of Darren on the London football circuit but even by his standards that’s quite some drivel. He doesn’t pay much attention to Saints, if that wasn’t already apparent.
You make good points but I am interested just how "unproven" players become proven unless someone takes a leap of faith and tests them out. Just imagine if unproven past players like Channon, Le Tissier, Williams, Bale, Shearer etc never got their opportunity until they got towards their mid 20s?

Oddly enough he’s singing at a thing I’m going to on Friday. Lives in Brighton, lovely bloke and a really special voice when you hear him live.
I've no problem in giving unproven players a chance, but just get worried when they are the only option. I think we have a good mix in the striker department, probably a strengthening point for the summer. Think right back worries me a bit not immensely.
