Rosie on the transfer window...
"
I'm delighted, it's exactly what I wanted to be honest with you," the City boss told Hull Live.
"When we sat down when I first joined the club, we spoke about what I felt was needed, and the first thing needed was to streamline the squad.
"It's not just about getting rid of players. Josh Emmanuel has gone to Grimsby and I wish him the best, James Scott's left - it's about having a mentality that everyone in the building is fighting for the same thing, and that's impossible when you've got over 30 players in your squad.
"When you're training 11v11 and there are 10 players who can't even train in the first team, it's not their fault and they're not bad lads, but they don't have that motivation level that you need, from my perspective.
"Cutting the squad down, and if you watch training today every single player is at it because they know they've got a chance of getting in the first team.
"That's what I wanted, and we've created that. I think with the additions - you've seen Aaron's quality, Karl is a top goalkeeper, Malcolm's going to show what he can do when he comes in, I'm in a really good place with this group."
