The thing is, we've been a week or so away from being awash with attacking options for over a month now and it keeps getting pushed back.
But there is nothing we can do we have injured players , a suspended one , so you can’t play what we don’t have . Now if you are saying we should have gone for a striker that’s another argument . I think he’s probably gambling that what we’ve got will do fingers x they are in soon.

Law of averages says that we must surely be due better luck with injuries & suspensions.
The injuries were bad enough to contend with, but then there was a) the, imo, ott red card & suspension of Oscar, and b) the stupid reaction from Tetteh. Both will surely have learnt from those incidents.
Roll on a week tomorrow when we finally start seeing more, quality attacking options.

Didn't we start to see more quality attacking options the last couple of week with the introduction of Connolly?

We've added Connelly and at the same time lost Tetteh and Allahyar and loaned out Smith. We currently have three senior attacking players available.

Doesn't change the fact we saw more attacking quality over the last 2 games with the introduction of Connolly

I just worry that if we concede first we still won't have anyone to break down a packed defence. If it's not going to plan, we're relying on Longman or Jarvis to be game changers from the bench.

Keith Edwards?
My favourite ever City player, made scoring goals look ridiculously easy. I remember going to see us play at Bramall Lane a year or so after he went back there. A section of the City fans tried to wind him up by singing stupid songs about his wife, and he duly scored a hat trick.

His wife was a bit of a one from all accounts. A Wednesday fan I worked with was good friends with Keefy through a love of greyhound racing. Never talked about football though.

Totally agree. We look a transformed side with Connolly. Strange how one player can have such an immediate impact.
I can’t think of a player having such an affect before maybe Campbell?

It's that pace in behind gives us another dimension. Means if they press high they're open to the ball over the top. That wasn't working before as we just didn't have the pace to get beyond defenders.
