If we couldn't initially get Chelsea to agree to take Vale back, presumably that means we'll have had to cut a compromise deal of some sort. I wonder if that means we'll continue to pay some of his wages.

I know why LR wants him as we do lack a dynamic winger and he knows that managers have a short lifespan at clubs so he needs to finish as high up as possible. From the club perspective, we need to decide who's needed for next season and who isn't and the lads deserve decent minutes to push their case.

Liam clearly thinks we are short on out and out wingers, hence why Docherty and Slater have been used there. Especially now Allahyar is out again.

Tetteh being back is welcome but we def need some more competition now Sinik has gone and Pelkas is still out. Malcolm gives us something we don’t really have.

Very pleased with this. Also was really confused, as per my post the other day, I thought Chelsea had turned down offers from 2 x Prem clubs and signed him up for a few years but having gone through my whats app messages from the guy I know there it was Vale!!!!!
 
Anyone have an idea where James Scott is going? Rosie said it was likely to be confirmed in the next few days.
 
Simons has played one game. Has everyone else here watched every minute of football he played for his school team, or has he been making stealth appearances in someone else’s shirt for people to judge how great a signing he’s going to be?

Im cautiously optimistic purely due to the fact he’s a young player in a position we’ve struggled in for a while.

If it works it’ll be great. No idea if it will though.
