There's one here. I have been underwhelmed by Tufan, not that I knew who he was before we signed him. I saw the flaws in the pre season friendly at Peterboro when they ran us ragged. He was obviously unfit and overweight then and it showed in the early games because there was no doubting his ability when he had the ball, he just seemed to go missing for long periods of the game and his head ( and Seri's for that matter) used to drop when we went one down under Shota.Rosenior made the change (Doc for Woods) BEFORE we won those games. He isn't Mystic Meg. The change helped lead to wins, not the other way round, and I guess he'll now likely stick with it (unless there's a new signing for that position coming in).
I find it hard to believe that anyone thinks Woods is more mobile than Tufan.
So to me Tufan is a luxury player for us. It is good to see him come on for the last 20 minutes and for that time on the pitch he can manage a couple of touches that can influence the game. But over a full 90 mins? Not in this league. Woods is a different type of player altogether, he does play for 90 mins and he is a talker too on the pitch, almost captain like, in encouraging and making sure the team keeps it's shape. He can also pick a pass, and he can put his foot in when needed. Maybe not a show pony but a good solid no frills seasoned professional who will no doubt come a lot cheaper and be more reliable over 90 min that Tufan. Maybe not George Honeymans standard but as near as we've got. So for me if Tufan wants to go home then take the cash City and use it elsewhere.
