Bolton and Barnsley supposedly have had loan offers accepted for Tyler Smith. Probably Twitter bollocks?

looking at some stattys
regarding doc

doc has more tackles, more dribbles, more aerial duels won, than woods and this is not a slight on woods, woods is similar to seri, hence why woods has more passes attempted and complete vs doc

the team also has a net positive goals to concede ratio with doc on the pitch at +1.30
Docherty also coughed up possession cheaply two or three times on Monday. You don’t get perfect midfielders in the middle of the championship.

Hence there being no such thing as a perfect midfielder. Woods is probably better on the ball, whereas Doc probably has more in the way of legs and less likely to let a man go.

yea but so is seri, they don't work the best together imo
too similar

i still think he'll start woods for home games

I still think hell get games, but Rosie seemed adamant that if you came in and played well they you'd keep. Your shirt for the next one, so whether it's quite a home/away split would remain to be seen.

I see logic in what you're saying about playing him in games we are more likely to be dominatant in posession though.

heaven and hell in midfield?

Doc has seemingly filled that void since coming back into the side

Not only that, our 10s, whether that be Tufan or Pelkas have 6 goals and at least 1 assist between them for the first half of the season. Hasn't Slater also scored from the 10 position?

Seems to be more of a goal threat from that position this year, regardless.

Doc and Slater are certainly more box to box, which Honeyman could perform well, but I don't see either as out and out [HASHTAG]#10s[/HASHTAG]. Seri also seems to have lost his shooting boots after a decent strike on the opening day. He's been in, or had the opportunity to be in, similar space in recent games and has chosen to pass it rather than pull the trigger.
