Feel like they've emphasised the 'four' so that could be our lot

People always say it was a mistake to sell Cairney, and Corry Evans too. But at the time we'd just signed Huddlestone and Livermore and had Meyler, Koren and Quinn too who were all better at the time, and we went on to have our best ever season with that team. Cairney improved after moving to Blackburn, apparently learned to apply himself a lot better which was a bit of an issue when he was with us, as I understand.
Whilst I understand your point, I don’t agree with it. I would love to have some of our former players back. Snodgrass for instance would make a great impact sub.
I don’t think that every one who has ever played for us would be perfect. But when you see ex city players in other teams doing well, it makes you wonder what they would be like back with us.
Only ones doing well are Robbo and Bowen and maybe Townsend. The rest are all aging has-beens who are way past their prime. Snodgrass has been kicked into touch early by West Brom because he’s 34 and constantly in the physio’s room.
That guy with the massive swede's doing alright I've heard
Yeah we did, and Fulham didn't pay through the nose for him either.
You must be the only person who expected Walsh to sign then.Happy with the signings but bit disappointed there wasn’t a surprise signing
You must be the only person who saw Walsh signing then.
He's being let go early by Albion for a reason.Yeah, but last 20 mins you need a goal....
Set pieces alone could be worth 5 or 6 points a season.
Maybe that's why we're signing Walsh though...
I had 12 mill in my head for some reason? That may have been the figure banded around when he was rumoured to be leaving Fulham a few years ago though.Went for about £3m if memory serves.
Sorry have I just read the Walsh deal is subject to international clearance?
He's a Scouse lad playing in Wales?
We wasted enough cash on Bullard.34 year old Snodgrass no thanks. This team works hard as 1 they can't carry players. His legs are long gone don't need him.
Yeah saw it on Twitter about an hour ago…not exactly an inspiring signingYou must be the only person who expected Walsh to sign then.
How many loanees are allowed in a matchday squad?
I heard £2 million? Hope he plays on Weds night and runs rings round them!!tThat sounds right from the reports up here. Some signing, absolute master stroke for Rangers anyway, not sure how they pulled that one out the bag.
Very happy chap here, City on the up and hopefully Ramsay can help the Gers beat that other team from Glasgow.
I still think City could sneak another signing in. Decent window regardless.

I remember Meyler said on a podcast that during our last season in the Prem, some players just downed tools and ****ed about and disrupted training sessions on purpose during the 2017 January transfer window to force through moves to other clubs. He explicitly said Livermore was one.
Slutsky also said in an interview that during the first week at City, he had players such as Clucas come to him demanding to be sold. I wouldn’t touch any of these mercs with a ten foot pole now.
