Evans was never good enough for the Pl and rightly sold
Hudd Livermore Quinn meyler way down the pecking order and not good enough anyway

I'd go one further, he wasn't good enough for a team getting promoted out of the championship. Decent servant when we were mid-table but when Bruce built a promotion side he wasn't good enough for that midfield. He never really reached that level even later in his career. Nice goal against Leeds mind.

I remember it too.
At first Meyler wasn't going to name names, but with a bit of a push he did.
Really disappointing to hear - not meaning Meyler naming names but that our players would do that .... but as Syd commented, more than likely, and understandably, due to the way the club was being run at the time - it was an utter shambles).

One he outed was Livermore. Particularly disappointed in that one given how the club stuck by him after his misdemeanours.

Not transfer related apart from I noticed it while browsing for Hull City latest transfer news on Twitter

Got to love our Turkish followers

This one posted that this was us all celebrating outside the stadium after the win on Saturday!!! <laugh>

Great night out in Brum.
Broad Street is mental.

One of the best things about the championship is its unpredictability, but I suppose that makes it a revolving door for a lot of players.

Could be comfortable at the level of a mid to lower league team only for that team to be pursuing promotion the next year and you're out of the team without a chance

Allahyar is a loan to ensure it he doesn't gel or we go down were not 4m quid out of pocket and stuck with his wages.

I suspect (don't know) also there is probably an agreement to sign Walsh in summer if he fits too.

It's good business. Allayahar and Forss look to have genuine quality - along with Eaves and Smith we should have enough up top.

We have genuine Smallwood and Honeyman cover.

Good, astute window for me, given there's work still to do to retain our league status this year.
We are staying up for certain.
Can we force ourselves into top.6.
A tall ask but you never know.

Wasn't he just about MotM in our best performance that season at Leeds? Or am I misremembering. I know he scored one of the goals.

Same. Very overated

Wouldn't be in the Premier now if he hadn't gone through the divisions with Leeds.

Won't be for long either if Leeds decide they wanna push top half and sign a decent centre back.

He'd do a job for a championship side lacking a bit of leadership and defensive experience though.

A transfer widow designed to keep us in the championship, think the summer window will be the one to "blow a few socks off", overall very happy happy with business done.

I think a really good window, brought players in, in positions which needed strengthening. It would seem that as we didn't bring in a right back then we will be sticking with 3 at the back. Longman on a permanent is really good business, as was Slater. I really like that all the signings improve us, but are sensible and prudent acquisitions, they have brought in better quality but not been reckless. Onwards and upwards.

I think that's it. Nothing reckless, nothing crazy, just sensible, solid acquisitions. I'm quite happy with that approach.
