Why haven't they announced it yet then? Is the investment news imminent and they are doing both? Is that big board meeting still happeni

He probably saw all the negative reaction to the rumour (maybe started by him)! Ha'way the StenDell!

If, as I've just been told, Donald is at the AOL and Parkinson showed up it could be thought that it was to take training.

If, as I've also just been told, he's turned it down then it looks like Ainsworth.

Donald is making a real mess of this if either is the case.

Bob Murray must be sat at home crying tbh, we'd be better off if he came back.

Well further up this page someone posted "I'm starting to wonder if Stewart is intentionally just trying to piss the fans off now, to be honest.". Which of your categories does that fall into?

I do agree it's not as bad as RTG but it was so refreshing to find somewhere much more rational that I don't want to see it deteriorate

That was me and it was quite clearly hyperbole <doh>

he appears to be making a mess of everything at the moment mate. I just hope he doesn't make so much mess that there will be no investors. He really is in too deep for his own good

I hope Gordon Armstrong can still muster a posse and round up these two bit cowboys
Joking really I want these rich Americans, ****ing hell man, one will do :emoticon-0106-cryin
PS I know we've had one of those already

What a ****ing circus this place (or any other safc message board/social media site) has become.

I mean, some random bloke on a forum comes in and says "parkinson has taken training" with bugger all to back it up, and fans go into a melt down, and all the blame is aimed at the owner, who has shown no sign of having anything but good intentions since he came in. He's steadied the club, and is trying to rebuild. He has never claimed to have the money needed to take us far, but now all kinds of baseless conspiracy are being thrown around.

FFS, I look at Donald trump and his tweets and ppl actually believeing anything **** he spouts and wonder how the hell that ever happened; then I look at anything SAFC related atm (twitter, media reports, fan reactions) and realise " **** that's how it happens"
Best post of the thread..

Hardly anything inflammatory in that.
Someone throwing the theory out there.
Not really a full on accusation.
People are peeved.
Donald has retreated into his shell.
The recruitment and sacking have been an utter shambles
The takeover/investment hasnt been handled at all well.
These things are being mooted but without the vitriol, abuse and overuse of profanity.
We should be quite pleased with what is happening here.
If donald thought he was going into some sort of North Korean where he is the infallible dear leader well more fool him.
Can't stand the heat etc etc

How has the sacking and recruitment been handled badly? Because you don't like some stuff written on the Internet by people claiming they have sources or are in the know? If I remember right you were clammering for Ross to be sacked, and now you're not happy with Donald, cos now he didn't handle the sacking properly? What the **** would make you happy?

Donald has retreated into his shell? That's a ****ing good thing imo, because it means NDA are still in place, which means things are still happening.

He hasn't shown anything but good intentions since he's come in here. Perfect? No mistakes? No, but it's been made out he's Mark Ashley mk2 and that's just plain wrong.

Some people on here could win a million quid and then complain because they didn't like the way the bank transfer wasn't handled. Happiest when they have something to complain about or someone to blame.

Joking aside
If true and he has messed up appointing a manager for Sunderland in League One
To the point we are turned down by a lower league journeyman who is out of a job
Then god knows how he is behaving in front of Seasoned American investors
I quite like the chap but really starting to look like he's out of his depth.

If true of course, he hasn't really made a brilliant impression as he supposed to have done with Short. It seems that his stock is being devalued day by day and he is looking more and more small time

What if what you got told was wrong and he'd never actually been offered the job in the first place. We've been through all this in the last month with speculation.
