Not "clearly" at all to anyone who's spent any time on RTG marra - especially when you add "to be honest"
We have a massive support, home and away, but people are entitled to voice their opinions. I wouldn't want anyone, to manage my club, who can't handle the size of it ... ... Ross visibly wilted and I don't want another.
I agree with reg However you are correct in saying We need a big enough strong enough character to deal with those idiots who in my opinion know nowt about the club
There are many more decent supporters mate. Focusing on the minority of idiots is pointless and destructive imo. I
Yeh there not really supporters anyway We have a massive following and we must not let the dick heads marr our enjoyment
If he has turned us down I assume it was because he was offered the job only until then end of the season and he's looking for something long term ? Dodged a bullet I'd say.
Somethings not right. If it is to be Parkinson then why not get him in today so he can take training tomorrow
Sorry like, I do not believe for one second Phil Parkinson has turned us down. It’s ridiculous the amount of rumours from ‘reliable sources’ being thrown out, about the manager and takeover. If people wish to believe them all fair enough, even though many contradict each other, but to vilify SD based on every rumour is poor.
I'm not vilifying Donald. I've seen him fail to bring in the investment he keeps broadcasting I've seen him back a manager, this season, who he subsequently sacked. I've seen him dip in and out of social media as it suits him. I've seen him fail to appoint a manager at a critical time, we're 3 days from our next game. I've seen him making statements he's failed to back up. Pointing this out isn't vilifying him, it's how it appears. The club is currently at the lowest point it's ever been and Donald is at the helm ... .... can anyone say he's doing a great job?
I said very little, in the first month, until I'd weighed them up. Then I regarded them as clever businessmen who'd do well for themselves which would benefit us. I now believe they'll do well for themselves but have less regard for how that affects the club. If things continue as they are I think Donald could become our Mike Ashley.
- Has he ever gave us a deadline for the investment, I’m not on about updates, I’m on about an actual deadline investment would be secured? - He backed a manager yes, then as results and performances rapidly deteriorated and the supporters feelings declined towards said manager he felt it was time for him to go. He’s not the first nor the last owner who will do this. - His mistake was going on social media in the first place. He tried to communicate through that medium and help supporters, but as the takeover rumours grew and the abuse increased he decided it was best to come off. More naive than anything else. - It is vital the appointment of the next manager is a success. If this takes a little longer than planned, so be it. - The club being at its lowest point league wise isn’t his fault, he failed to get us back up first time but he never put us here, in fact, his first year was mainly taken up by sorting out the mess he inherited. He’s not perfect, far from it, and he has made many mistakes, but some of the criticism, especially when based on hear say, is, in my opinion, over the top.
