Just a touch of cramp. He'll be fine.
Old news that mateNah in all seriousness, let’s hope he’s okay! Would be a big miss
Yeah I just meant everyone's only going to remember the times when we did lose someone, it's a non event when we don't.No but we could come out unscathed

Why did England go pretty much full strength from the squad available against Wales in a pointless friendly the other night? Playing for their country is the pinnacle of their careers. Alderete would’ve wanted to play, that’s just the way it is. **** all we can do about it unfortunatelyWhy the feck are Paraguay still trying to play Alderete 90 mins every game when theyve alread qualified ffs. Surely nows a good time to give other players a run out
Is that from the Echo by any chance?Omar Alderete injury details emerge away from Sunderland
Alderete looks set to miss Sunderland’s Premier League clash with Wolves, when they return from the international break.
According to Paraguayan outlet Monumental, Alderete suffered posterior muscle overload of the thigh in the 2-0 loss to South Korea on 14th October.
How long could Alderete be out for Sunderland?
If the report is correct and it is a thigh strain, Alderete could be out for between a few weeks to a few months.
If it is a grade one issue, which is a mild strain, it could take between 10 days and three weeks to heal.
Im so fecking pissed off right now
That’s just wrong****ing ridiculous. Time the clubs took FIFA to account. We can't be expected to risk our players, in the middle of our season, travelling all over the world,at the risk of injury which would affect trheir fitness, for them to line their coffers. The players don't want it,the clubs don't want it.....we pay the earth for these players......why would we let them risk everything before an important domestic match......FIFA **** off!
Players, and clubs, are forever complaining they play too many games. That’s just wrongOf course the players want to play for their countries. Ridiculously naive if you’re thinking otherwise.
International games will probably mean more than to them than club games.Players, and clubs, are forever complaining they play too many games.
