Ignore list

Cannot be bothered.
If a post is annoying, I ignore the post, can't be bothered with the messing about required to put someone on the ignore list.

What is needed is a 'zap button'.
If a poster is really spouting absolute drivel and you get annoyed then you should be able to press the 'Zap button' and a small electrical charge will be feed to that poster's keyboard.

Mind you, some posters on here would get such a large number of small electrical charges that multiplied would be like a bolt of lightning.
Could imagine a small pile of ash in front of a couple of keyboards on here.

I agree, but probably only because you and I are two of the only people to have made it onto anyone's ignore list. <diva><laugh>

You, together with many others, are on my ignore list o strange one. Only read your post because the site keeps logging me out, rendering my ignore list useless.
 
TWF is a dickhead so happy for him to think I am too for blocking him, as gave him a second chance and he's still a grade A nobber, won't miss reading his immature comments, 20 years old, more like 13 I reckon, thanks to Viking E for quoting that confirms my decision to get shot
 
Here's a question.
If you PM someone and you are on their ignore list do they receive the message or is it blocked ?
 
It would have to be something really bad for me to consider ignoring anyone. the people whose opinions I disagree with are often the most relevant to read. If you have a point of view you to need to look at the alternative viewpoints to either reinforce your own or - heaven forbid - even change it.

As far as I know, putting someone on ignore merely means you don't see their posts on a thread, it doesn't affect PM's.

As moderator, I'm supposed to read everything so ignore is not an option for me, though on the plus side, I can **** them off completely. :emoticon-0105-wink:
 
Ignore lists are mostly used by people wanting to play billy big bollocks and going on about who's on their list, rather than actually ignoring people. The people will use lists will ask other posters what has been said by ignored posters that they have missed. That would make no sense, but people love telling everyone who they're ignoring so much that it becomes worth it to them.

I've never thought about putting anyone on an ignore list because in all honesty I'd rather see a comment that's a load of bollocks, so the misguided fan can be put right rather than be left to his silly views.
 
Dovehouse called my wife a **** .

That's why he's the only nugget on my ignore list .

I know for a fact I'm not missing out on anything by not reading his posts because he never has anything to say that's worth listening to .
The likes of Perry and Tigersteve at least give an opinion on football related matters .
I might not agree with 99% of what they say but that's the whole point of a forum .

Tigersteve called me Dickface the other day .
I know it was supposed to offend me but I found myself laughing .

I suppose this is the use they are intended for. People who genuinely offend others can be stopped from doing so without removing them of their right to moan after a game.
 
One thing I learnt from this thread is just to comment on football in future and not other users as that just gives them and their stupid opinions more attention than they deserve

After all its a football forum where we all are suppose to have one thing in common... THE MIGHTY TIGERS

Instead of squabbling in the school play ground with one another.

The problem remains though when some Users quite clearly enjoy winding people up or will simply comment a thread to get a rise out of somebody as appose to replying the thread based on the actual topic.

I've sent it three times now from my phone and it says it has been sent . I'll give it a whirl on my PC a bit later if you still haven't got it .
