What a sad thing to have on a football chat forum, I read plenty of pathetic comments from other people and I'm quite capable of writing some **** myself so I would never dream of cutting someone off, Everyones got a right to an opinion even if it appears foolish.

I think the sort of person that chooses to ignore other folks opinions is very shallow indeed.

Anyone care to own up to it??? :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Doveston,Tigersteve, TWF and his mate on my list. You're entitled to your opinion Dean, I don't agree though, I don't want to read people writing rubbish when we are doing well and I've given certain people too much of the benefit of the doubt.

the ignore list is indeed sad , but even sadder is those that harp on about threads not making sense coz they have people on their ignore list .

I don't have anyone on my ignore list, and as far as i'm aware i'm not on anyone's ignore list. Sites such as Facebook have such a function and i see nothing wrong with this site employing it. I would note that in Doveston's case it's not down to his opinions but his rude and insulting nature towards other posters that has probably seen him on people's ignore lists, so in that respect the ignore list has its uses.

When you see comments like the fool posting last night saying he wished we had Dowie in charge instead of Pearson then you realise the ignore function has it's uses

Unless someone does something to offend me in a personal way i won't use the ignore list, I don't agree with what certain posters say and have clashed swords with them on a couple of occasions, but feel it would be rather childish of me to ignore them purely down to a difference of opinion, kind of giving them the satisfaction of having wound me up. When things overstep the mark however and become personal then that's the time i would use the ignore list.

How come your banned from the Newcastle board? Must have been quite bad what ever it was?

Why are you banned from the Newcastle board mate? EDIT- didnt see Tigerhull comment

I made a joke about Demba Ba and cotton. OK, it was slightly on the racist side, but not that bad. I've just created another account anyway so I can carry on using their board, and they know it's me.

It'd have made me laugh if nobody had replied.:biggrin:

I don't ignore anyone, if I think it's a daft or insulting comment I just scroll down.. and I can't ignore Viking Eric as he once sent me some fantastic pics which were very much appreciated ;)

Don't have anyone on a list yet, quite enjoy the banter between the guys who do bite.
But if you employed one, most of the threads wouldn't make sense and I assume you would keep wondering what you had missed!
I just ignore the arrrrs-uls which stops their enjoyment of more wind-ups; occasionally they get you thinking and in some extreme instances they have been right.

I like the people who ignore somebody for "attention seeking" and then spend the next 50 posts explaining that they have people on their ignore list.

Seriously though, anyone who has somebody on their ignore list is a dickhead.
