LGBT rights aren't political in the slightest and that letter is just bigoted and unnecessary. Disgusting behaviour from people who are out of touch with modern society.

You seem to be implying there that modern society per se is automatically OK.

It ain't.

I went to Manchester pride this year and had an absolutely brilliant day. I've never got why people care about the sexual desires/preferences of others. The other think I hate is when people say 'I know a gay guy you wouldn't even realise he was gay'. What a stupid statement, it makes no sense. It just smacks of someone trying to justify some of their comments.

On a separate note, I've been to Bridlington three times (All to play against their cricket team) and it seemed to be an absolute **** hole to me. I live in Altrincham/Hale please feel free to justify how Bridlington is better I am sure someone will find a way.....

I was making the observation some people don't conform to some others' stereotypes of them.
Surprised you live in Altrincham. Surely nowhere is better than Hull?

what does bridlington have going for it

Right.

Diversity. As long as it's the right kind of diversity. Wrong kind of diversity not tolerated.

Thanks for that.

I'm not really sure what level of reality you're operating on. Anything that's personal to an individual, such as gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity or religion isn't there to be attacked.

If you're trying to make a point, say it, there's no need for craptic (sic) clues.

Unless they are white, male, British Christians of course.

Men Of Bridlington beware...

Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Peach said, "We are treating these malicious emails as a hate crime. Everyone has the right to be safe and secure and to live free from fear or harassment. Hate incidents or crimes are based on ignorance, prejudice, discrimination and hate and have no place in our society."
