I wobder if those police stations, admittedly few and far between, with Muslim members of staff, were displaying these flags?
I've yet to see or hear of a Muslim police dog handler. By that I don't mean police dogs that are Muslim, I mean the handlers of them.
Canines are regarded as unclean in many Arabic cultures.

A Muslim Police Officer would make a very poor dog handler then wouldn’t he.

Though older members of certain religions are indeed very intolerant.
Of course you have to take your shoes off and not take dogs into Muslim houses.
It is something they do in some areas to avoid offending the perpetually offended in routine searches.
They might risk causing offence in emergency situations.
You do talk some crap at times, Ben. Politics is not something you hear being discussed much in my local.
Especially after a former Labour councillor and trade unionist (and Blunts fan) passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. Someone, who despite my disagreeing with on a lot of things, I had a lot of time for as he genuinely tried to make a difference and despite being in a lot of discomfort did until he passed away aged 72. Those baby boomers, eh?
