I’ve never known a professional team have so many poor corner takersCan we put more than one corner in the box above head height ? It might work .

I mentioned this before Monday's game; I don't think it's a poor delivery as such, I think it's an instruction to aim for that near post in the hope of a flick on or something. But I really don't understand why we attempt that routine so often, and have done for years under various managers. I want to understand it but I just don't get it, it never works and we attempt it with probably more than half of our corners. It never even looks like causing a problem, but we do it again and again and again.
Off the top of my head, I don’t remember us putting one of the bigger players or them making a run to the near post to win the flick on.I mentioned this before Monday's game; I don't think it's a poor delivery as such, I think it's an instruction to aim for that near post in the hope of a flick on or something. For on game Geldhart was great from corners...I’ve never known a professional team have so many poor corner takers
We have tried some intricate corner techniques ... unfortunately they need to be practised more...I mentioned this before Monday's game; I don't think it's a poor delivery as such, I think it's an instruction to aim for that near post in the hope of a flick on or something. So, this game is one I'm really not looking forward to, for the first half against Preston I just wanted to hide, 2nd half was a lot better. This could either be a great day to see city or an awful one. Don't want to go but don't want to miss out on a game that could see us safe and be a defining one for next season as to which division we'll end up in.
We are light weight in midfield, I think since Ashbee, we've not had a hard man in the middle to really control things, be a real captain, kick peoples backsides if they weren't putting the hard yards in. I think next season that midfield master is what we are crying out for. UTT
A lot of people talking about our home form as a factor (looking at the Derby forum ahead of this game).
As bad as we think it is, under Selles we have a record of;
P12 W4 D4 L4
It’s not as disastrous as we think - still room for massive improvement but not sure it is a big a factor as people think.

Oh dear....The alarm bells won't be going off...at that stat. They'll be literally belting out as loud as Big Ben's bells. I said a few weeks ago Derby looked up for the fight. A lot more than us...God forbid I am proven right.Derby away form is awful.
Only 3 wins away all season
Yepp. Last massive game had to be home to Cardiff. Though circumstances were different as Cardiff were already promoted. This one really is a final.Think we need to treat Saturday’s game against derby as an FA cup final, from minute one to however many past 90, sing, shout....
