Coventry are wobbling big style - can't rely on them getting a result in this one, I suspect

Ye the playoffs are weird this year

Sheff u and sunderland both in bad form
Coventry same

Usually theres a team with massive momentum thats wins them

Derby desperately needing a win does play into our hands a bit. We are in my opinion a better counter attacking team, which is why we have been better on the road than at home. When the onus is on the home team.

Not hugely confident as we haven’t managed back to back results for a while. I’d definitely take a draw now.

Don't think we can hope any of the teams in 3rd down to 8th or even 10th will do us any favours. They are all losing and/ or have lost the motivation/ momentum. Or they are already safe in 3rd and 4th.

We need to beat Derby. They aren't great but they will work hard and play for set pieces.

We need to be up for a battle. Forget tippy tappy .

I would say I’d settle for a point but the more I think about it the more I’m not sure that’ll be enough. I can’t see us getting anything at Portsmouth but I can see both Derby and Luton beating Stoke and WBA respectively. I’d feel a lot more relaxed come 3pm if Frank can do us a favour

Pompey on the last day could go either way.

They will probably only be mathematically safe after this weekend (they need a ten goal swing and no more points to still go down which is very unlikely but not impossible I guess - two 3-0s and two 2-0s would do it).

After a long season of pressure they’ll probably either want to enjoy a last game with a bit of freedom or they’ll all be not arsed and not want to get injured for the summer.

I think we’ve seen both circumstances over the years, but I definitely don’t think it’s a home banker.

Didn’t get there Monday, I was in Orlando due to fly home Saturday at five with Virgin, plane sets off down the runway and then stops near the end because of a electrical fault, We couldn’t get back on a gate big enough for the virgin plane so despite the pilot saying hopefully we will get one in a few minutes we ended up being sat for 5 hours. Engineers came on, looked at the problem and then announced that the flight had to be cancelled. We ended up after getting cases ect going to a hotel 15 miles away by taxi along with 400 plus other passengers all doing the same thing. finally got in our room around 1.30am then received a message saying we had been given a flight to Chicago. So up at 5.30, taxi to airport, flight 8.30 and onto Chicago. Then 11 hour wait to fly from there to Heathrow which took around 8 hours. We landed Monday around 10.00 but because the car was at another terminal we had to get over there on the airport train and the time it took going for baggage ect made it impossible to get to the MKM. I was gutted and miserable after a great holiday, firstly that I wasn’t going to get there and then after such a long journey that we were losing, however the comeback we made plus my lack of sleep give me one of deepest best sleeps for years. Onto the Derby game now, a one off cup final against a very decent side so hopefully I will be there to give the lads my vocal much needed support.

Not quite - only 6 points above Luton with 2 games to go. As I said the GD is on their side and it’s highly unlikely but a 10 goal swing is doable within 4 games (2 for them and 2 for Luton)

Luton doesnt matter
To go down
Portsmouth would have to finish below
Us
Derby and luton
We play derby
So one of us cant reach 52 points

They are safe because both us and Derby can’t overtake them.

How the other half live jb!!!

I think City would shake hands on a draw, now, but not sure about Derby!

Fixtures of teams in and around us.
Stoke vs Sheff Utd (Fri) 8pm
Luton vs Coventry (12.30)
Cardiff vs WBA
Oxford vs Sunderland
Preston vs Plymouth

We definitely need something, I can see all our rivals picking up points from those fixtures. 3 points would be huge, and put us safe, but we don't do it the easy way.

Its about time we put a team to the sword, lets get at them from the outset, win the game so we can all go home afterwards celebrating what a bloody awful season it's been :1980_boogie_down::undecided:

Too close to call. Needless to say a win would be massive, a lost a disaster, depending on other results, and a draw about halfway between the two. Always had a feeling it would go down to the final day and that just might be the outcome.
