Here we go again...

That's simply not true, half of the HCST committee had absolutely no involvement in the running of CTWD.

And being a moderator isn't a job, we're just posters like everyone else, we just happen to additionally do a bit of tidying up, the role of moderator does not prevent us from having and expressing an opinion, nor should it.

What I find astonishing is that Hull City AFC (DMD) liked the post. To be fair I started to think the moderator being described was him. <laugh>

Kindly read what was said.
Firstly; I did not say that people who ran CTWD were now running HCST.

Sounded like it to me - "Since the leading lights of CTWD, a single issue protest group, filled most of the committee places on the newly formed Hull City Supporters Trust, it too has developed largely into a single issue organisation."

Secondly; I never said being a moderator was a job; nor did I say moderators can not express an opinion. I merely stated that moderators should be more encouraging to the membership and if they feel they have passionate views that entail them insulting other members, then they should stand down for a while. Or is cherrypicking responses a pre-requisite for moderatorship?

I only insult the stupid ones. <ok>

The ignorance of many on here reaches heights that have never before been reached.

Just when you thought the bar had been raised to it's maximum along comes another with another even more ****ing moronic & inaccurate statement.
Sadly, "Mr Ben" your response is typical of many on here lately and one that I thought didn't suit you. If you disagree with anyone, you resort to insults and adopting a supercilious attitude; the implication being that only you can be right - because you said so.

You posted a derogatory post about HCST, then whine about it when people take a pop back.

If you don't like people insulting you, then maybe you should avoid insulting them in the first place?

If you deem me to be stupid, who am I to disagree? Would I dare?

Hey Files,

Hull Tigers.

Funny that you never mentioned this preference until Allam dreamt it up.

A bit like how you said Barmby should be given a full summer at least, until Allam decided to sack him.

No principles, you just swallow up whatever he says and does because your allegiance to Assem Allam is greater than your allegiance to Hull City.

As fans have Hull City, we should always be united in the love for our team. You love it so much that you prefer an alternative team, but not until a rich man tells you to prefer it. Call yourself a City fan? Pathetic.

There is a difference between criticising an organisation and insulting an individual. Maybe not in your eyes.

Just for anyone who didn't read this board before the Allams even owned us,never mind the name change thing, i can tell you Happy Tiger always went against whatever the popular opinion was,he just seems to revel in his own notoriety.Iv'e no idea why, anyone can do it,just read a thread and go against the grain. Personaly i think i'd find that really boring, i'm here to read peoples opinion and give my own. Each to their own...

Happy should really be called Contrary Tiger.
Yeah I can see that I didn't even know this board existed before last February
I work with someone just like Happy( sorry Mary Mary quite contrary) Tiger.
He just says the opposite so I've started saying the reverse to what I think and he still says the opposite

You still holding your breath Mr Needy?
It was a simple question. No childish name changing or slagging anyone. Obviously above your intellect. I wonder why you don't want to answer a question that was entirely related to your previous supposition?

I think there are a few bits in his post that are worth discussion. Dismissing it for a part that you consider derogatory is short sighted in my opinion.

The Trust shouldn't be beyond question or sensitive to criticism, quite the opposite in fact.

There are a few on here who I wouldn't be suprised to learn that they are Assam and Ehab, or that they had been bought. Ridiculous I know but thats how they come across

Dutch mate, you're absolutely obsessed with how the trust should respond to constructive criticism. I see far more of that then I see constructive criticism from anyone. Through our various channels, we get a lot of praise and a few Strov type numpties. If people sent us suggestions or whatever they would be listened to. I think you must know that from your own experiences really.

Firstly it's "Sir Cheshire Ben".

This what you said,

"Since the leading lights of CTWD, a single issue protest group, filled most of the committee places on the newly formed Hull City Supporters Trust, it too has developed largely into a single issue organisation."

This is inaccurate, incorrect, bullshit & bollocks & raises the bar because of.

The role of the moderator is defined quite clearly in the board rules.

7) Moderators

The moderators on all the forums on this site are volunteers. We're just normal posters like everyone else, and we're allowed to have opinions and disagreements with people like everyone else. We just happen to have been given the ability by the administrators to edit and remove posts when it is necessary to make sure the content remains acceptable to the users.

On this forum, as with the rules, all the moderators have been chosen by the users following open threads on who they should be.

From this I read that if a moderator wants to telll somebody they think they're being a ****, then get them told, it's within the rules. They've told me before, obviously in that instance they were wrong but in general they're good at what they do. They don't have to set standards for others to follow or encourage others to join in. FFS it's not "first day at football forum & here's your Moderator buddy"

Your statement was wrong, admit it, live with it, accept the criticism & move on.

There are a few on here who I wouldn't be suprised to learn that they are Assam and Ehab, or that they had been bought. Ridiculous I know but thats how they come across

No chance, they are far too cheap for that; they are just natural counts, that's all.
