I'm sure I remember Happy once saying that whilst not too bothered he ultimately he would prefer Hull City over Tigers, (this was many months ago though).

Seeing as you are here, and answering questions, I asked you this on Monday night and don't seem to have received a reply.

    Happy Tiger said:
Why are you so convinced you're a majority? Polls like this? The samples they use are quite clearly skewed, even you must admit that?

My view is, theres 18000 or so season ticket holders, the protest group, at its height, managed less than 2000. If the majority REALLY cared, they'd join and support a protest group against something. The attempted demos would have been much much better supported. The reality is, neither the Yes nor the No have anything approaching a majority. The difference is, the majority who are basically apathetic and don't give a **** one way or the other, and regardless of the name will still turn up at the KC every other week, are more beneficial to those of us in the Yes camp. They really do not help the No camp at all.

I do not claim the yes is the majority, but I do claim that the No is a minority, because, they are. The facts speak for themselves as described above.

Clicking a button on a poll online is completely unrepresentative of anything, other than the people who can be arsed to click a button. You get people who never even go to games voting, people who are fans of other clubs, sometimes just causing mischief, and whilst some people seem perfectly happy to click a "No" button, they seem way less inclined to give a protest group, or now, even a Supporters Trust, their money or their actual support.

That's why I am convinced the No lot are not a majority.

I did not say I was in a majority, you said I said that. Misquoting me or just plain old attributing stuff to me I didnt say seems popular tonight :(

When season pass renewals are sent out, if they had to be returned with an answer to Hull City or Hull Tigers, which do you think would have the majority?

You had every oppertunity to to vote against the name change when the club had its ballot and your support was at a high and you still couldn't muster enough support so yes those against the name change are the minority.

I can't believe anyone is stupid enough to cite that ballot as proof of anything, it was a ballot that Robert Mugabe would have been proud of.

Fortunately, the FA saw it for what it was and dismissed it completely.

There were a significant number of people that saw not voting in what they saw as a skewed ballot as the best way of showing their contempt for it. You can't judge from those results.

I think I'm in a minority, because I have met some people that are strongly in favour of the name change. The stood out because their views were so different from everyone else I've spoken to. They both argued they felt it was a good business decision.

Just for anyone who didn't read this board before the Allams even owned us,never mind the name change thing, i can tell you Happy Tiger always went against whatever the popular opinion was,he just seems to revel in his own notoriety.Iv'e no idea why, anyone can do it,just read a thread and go against the grain. Personaly i think i'd find that really boring, i'm here to read peoples opinion and give my own. Each to their own...

Happy should really be called Contrary Tiger.

That's like saying because only a small percentage of the UK electorate voted in the last election that those who didn't were actually voting Tory when in fact of those who voted the Tory vote was a minority

I agree entirely that the vocal minority against this proposed name change are far bigger than the not so vocal minority supporting it. However - despite what you keep saying - the vast majority of fans do not find this proposed name change proposal worth bothering about. Hence the 18,000 or so who take no part in the boring debates. That's a majority!

People were voting at gun point? People died?

What a stupid, even by your standards, comparison.

This is not about the name change any more. AA's ownership of the club is now holding us back.

We have no chance of expanding the stadium because of his spat with HCC, his constant ignorance to towards to fans is losing customers, he's balls up the academy so much so he's had evict clubs from Airco Arena.

One half of football fans pity us and the other half are taking the piss out of us.

I disagreed with the views on here about why Barmby was sacked, I disagree with the anti Allam mob and I disagree with the opposition to the name change.

I remember my liking mayo on chips not being hugely popular but your suggestion I disagree with everything, especially to become notorious, is frankly ****ing stupid.

The attempts to undermine my views on the name change are laughable, really.

The other 2 halves don't give a **** one way or the other, seeing as they're either interested in their own teams, or who they're playing next.

    Kindly read what was said.
Firstly; I did not say that people who ran CTWD were now running HCST.
Secondly; I never said being a moderator was a job; nor did I say moderators can not express an opinion. I merely stated that moderators should be more encouraging to the membership and if they feel they have passionate views that entail them insulting other members, then they should stand down for a while. Or is cherrypicking responses a pre-requisite for moderatorship?
