Grayson

Lose tomorrow and I really can't see how that statement is credible.

We'd probably even be better off giving it to Oshea as caretaker just to see if it defibs the season

I suggested giving him the job just to get him out of the team a few seasons back, amazingly I think he is one of our better performers this season which says it all. I understand and share your incredulity, its part of the Sunderland experience.
lets hope for a Mel Holden moment tomorrow. <bubbly>

Regardless of whether you're Grayson in or out...lose today and even the most patient of fans will have to think about the situation. The thought of league 1 is unimaginable. Something will HAVE to be done.

The only thing that can be done is spend some money on improving the squad. Grayson isn't the best manager ever, but despite the odd tactical decision, he's not the problem. The League 1 standard squad is the problem.

That and the understandably pissed off and apathetic fans. Poor home support and a weak squad are our two problems for me, nothing else.

**** it sack him, bring on groundhog day, cause it's worked out every single time so far.

What we need is RAWA putting a consortium together.

We won't get any better ones till Short goes.

If Grayson was sacked , who'd want the job ? Poor squad , no money to improve it.

We're a mess.

I'm hoping there's a slim chance that Keane was at the match because he'd been summoned and not just to have a good laugh at us or to look at players like O'Shea and McGeady who he surely must know as much about now as he'll ever need to.

I highly ****ing doubt it's the case but you couldn't rule it out. It certainly worked last time we were in this position.

Best if he goes I think
May as well have no manager
We can’t be any worse

How though? Justify what you’re saying.

I’m all for replacing Grayson if the right man is there, Karanka absolutely wouldn’t be incredible his ceiling was hit very early.

Augsburg finished 6th off the back of a great start and a limp over the line, on that basis there’s 612 managers available.

Monk was the appointment, we tried, we failed. Just because we don’t rate Grayson that doesn’t mean throwing darts is the solution.

This is a huge job, make no mistake.
That's it huge job and unfortunately I only see SG being the fall guy as he is sold short. We need substantial Investment to get the right calibre of player to get out of this league never mind doing premiership quality. Root and branch changes are needed at the top. I wonder if the Fulwell'73,group will come in as part if a consortium as the new Friday Night Pop show ain't up to much (so far)- Radio Darkside's "Beat Surrender" format needed imo. So could look to a new market to conquer ie a successful Mackem football club.
