Which contract though? A one year rolling deal which allows him to speak to another club anytime he chooses?

It would hardly make you feel wanted.

The club (as with any player) will have told him an approach has been made. Let's be honest they wouldn't make the approach without encouragement that he was interested.

You cannot blame the club solely for this

he's wanted to go and wanted them to try...it's like asking your mate to ask the mate of a lass you fancy if she'll gan out with you if you ask her

The club have not just agreed to this. They have said that they " are contractually obliged " to allow him to speak to othe clubs if he wants to.

If he did well that was bound to happen. Speakman, who appears to call all the shots was obviously comfortable with this.

I hope he's comfortable now. But I expect more farce and chaos, followed by a bloke who can't believe his luck at being offered the job and can't say no to it.

King bluffer is speakman. Should be academy manager only. Not head of all decisions ffs.

I mean if he wanted to earn less and have less protection , I guess he could stay. But given a longer deal he was promised didn't materialise , I don't blame him.
Me neither.

Treat like a throwaway underling. Speakman again.

So clear that. It is all he has ever done before here. He never played or coached at anything other than youth level.

A grotesque chancer

This is unlike me, but if you've got something to add to the conversation, spit it out. Otherwise you sound like all the bellends apportioning blame without responsibility on here and RTG. No offence intended, I'm just ****ed off with the whole carnival.

Well put it this way.

This is the result of one of two men. The owner, or the man he has employed to run the football operation.

I'd bet quite a chunk on it being the latter. This just cannot be painted as other than a shambles. The club is behaving very small time indeed, and they are seeing where that gets you.

Is that really the case or is it another person who thinks that they are bigger than the club and can hold us to ransom?
