It's just what I've said already. There are several signs now that Walter wants certain things from his keepers which is why he brought Rushworth in and I want him to have what he wants in order to be successful. I think our goalkeeping situation is peculiar in that Pandur has become the incumbent as a result of being here for pre-season while the others weren't, and now injury to Rushworth just when he was finally going to start. If he decides that Pandur is still the best available option then that's fine with me, but I think it's worth discussing that he might not.
Where was it stated that Rushworth was going to start.

And he’s had plenty of games he could have picked rushworth but hasn’t
And as for trying Racc! WTF

and i don’t know where this he was due to start has come from?
Pandurs number 1 he’s ours
End of chat

Pandur has become the "incumbent" as you put it because he took his chance and proved to everyone he's a top quality GK who is totally and completely deserving of his starting place and position as our #1

There is absolutely zero need or reason to change that.

It would be a very brave or foolish man to drop pandur now he's in form. Oddly enough I don't think he got a mention in the Sunderland mom thread which shows we are getting better, if you see what I mean.

There is of course a reason to change that, to improve our playing out from the back. You might not think that's sufficient reason, but it is a reason. However if you repeat your view that there is zero reason, but this time add FACT, then I'll concede the point.

So we should have dropped the keeper in piss poor form last season then....I'm sure you was one of the ones dead against that. Care to explain the difference?

I wonder if we avoid Rushworth’s rumoured non-appearance fee if he’s out injured?

You seem to be angrily responding to posts without really taking in what they're saying. If he indeed was against dropping Allsop last season, that in no way contradicts what he's said in the post you quoted.

It's just a discussion about player selection, really no reason for it to become so confrontational.

I think we need to improve our playing back from the front.

The keeper isn’t the problem.

To be fair to him, I can explain the point (again) to HT2 but I can't make him understand it.

Explain it as many times as you want to, still doesn't change the fact that changing the GK is an absolutely stupid thing to do ATM and the people who seem keen to see it happen are either a tad dim or don't understand the role of a GK fully and what Pandur is bringing to the team ATM, plus in some instances total hypocrites.

If you think that's angry and confrontational then you really need to get out more. Or are you just one of these people the default straight to that when someone doesn't agree with your POV?
