If you were a black footballer getting stopped in his Bentley every other week, you might think the issue was rather more local.

And what about white ones getting stopped? If it's actually even a real issue, kneeling down before a game will do nothing to stop it.

It's recognised that the action is creating divide rather than resolving differences. They only people that would want it to continue would be those intent on inflaming a race war.
Post some articles for review and analysis.

It might well be a meritocracy but that's irrelevant and it doesn't stop racist behaviour no matter how rich you are. And who's lumped it on the industry? Seems to me the industry has taken to it voluntarily.

Kneeling down is creating far more division than it is resolving. If they genuinely want to address an issue, this is not the way to do it, particulary in an industry that is demonstrably not racist, as evinced by the millionaires on the pitch.

Ok guru - how do you think it should be addressed - asuming you believe it should be ?
These millionaires on the pitch need your sage advice on how they may better support the millions effected by the problem.

Ffs dmd being a millionaire doesn't stop you being subject to racist abuse, nor does creating a few millionaires mean that an industry is blameless with regard to racism. Why do you think millionaires are coming out in favour of taking the knee?
As for your first statement, how do you know that?

There are already strict laws for racist abuse. I would assume if it was as rampant as you are claiming, there'll be a long, long list of examples you can post. The problem is, if you can, it shows there's action that can be taken. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Why, because it's only happening every other week or because if you've got a Bentley you deserve all you get?

Does anyone really need to explain why we should not place millionaire footballers in Bentleys near the top of some spurious list of vulnerable citizens?
