Reading full articles would be too much for some. Who would only say that it was in the DM so they wouldn't read it, fwke hews, blah, blah...

BTW did you read about Russell Brand describing a writer on the sleeve of his latest book as the George Orwell of his generation? If you didn't I bet you, or anyone else, can't guess who that refers to.

I just googled it. :emoticon-0102-bigsm It's not a conversation for this board though.

In this case it was justification, not ignorance. As someone who doesn't get out much, and a humourless Canadian, who is not Canadian, I found it funny and perceptive.

On this very thread, you have insulted others e.g. - quote "FFS, you are a bit dim...", edited posts to disguise possible derogatory innuendo... myself a couple of times (see above, to use your own reference technique).

Is it ok to use the word hypocrite ?

Following your technique yet again - lighten up !
Your blocked you boring old fart.

It is not a conversation for any rational people. The only similarity between the person in question and George Orwell would have been if he had gone to Eton. Which he didn't.

I’m aware of that & hope you & others come out the other side unscathed.

My point wasn’t to gloat it was to dispel the idiocy behind the false statement that “only those in the public sector are safe”

Especially when many tens of thousands of public sector workers have lost their livelihoods over the last 10 years

Fair enough , I'm under no illusions about that , I worked in the public sector until 2009 myself

I don't think this has been highlighted too much, Hull Council tweeted the weekly average Covid 19 for Hull is 7.7 per 100,000, a reuction from the last weekly average.

Hull City Team doctor has confimed City WON'T test players for Covid 19 before Northampton game on Saturday as there is no EFL directive/instruction to test the players.

Maybe he'll claim the score showed the players socially distanced themselves from WHUhan.

Apparently the ball is a a vector of transmission, that explains our keeper's perfomance then.

There's a doctor on the Allam's payroll who isn't following the Hippocratic oath to protect those in his care or those who are exposed to those in his care. ?
What a surprise.
I realize Hull is isolated geographically speaking, but it ain't on the moon. (Not sure Urika Peece sees it that way - 3 -> 9 in a week < syphilis transmission rates ?).

Mindboggling given the close proximity with others in a contact sport environment and its associated "heavy breathing" & airborne exhalation of droplets with potentially lethal consequences to bystanders - even outdoors. let alone in pre-game activities like training and indoor tactics meetings.

Confusion certainly abounds.

Because Walton Street market is not a hot bed of virus spreading traders and buyers.

Someone was sent home with covid from a school near me yesterday. I drove past there and as it was warm had the car window down. I pray I will be alright.

Keep your eye on the road would be my advice.
Don't mix with irresponsible individuals would be my advice.
How large is your bubble ? Two friends and one family member ? Should be ok then. Open window's fine even under the speed limit.

I was probably closer to the school playground than I would have been to someone at the KCOM.
Terrifying times.

Give it a rest. Most teams other than the PL ones, who have to, are conducting tests.
