I think what we can learn is that F1 2011 is a stupid game, and the people who play it (myself included) are silly prats for wasting our money on it.
Everyone wants different things from the games. Your opinion on what it should be is not final.

OK, my apologies.

Basically things have gone bad to worse from f1 2010 to f1 2011.
yeah, trick is to find people that will race fairly and sensibly, friend them, and race mainly with them. Make a note of the dick heads so if they appear in your session you can get everyone to keep an eye on them so when they do what they do everyone knows who it is.I think this game is more about trying to avoid the prats

tbh unless the track is wet, it's seems to be the same karting.
If it's anything like 2011, that will not be a good thing. The HRT/Williams/Sauber/Mclaren are the best four cars, while the Ferrari/Renault/Toro Rosso are much slower than the others. If we could get 24 of us, if we could have some sort of custom championship online where we would meet on a few weekends and play out the season with fair, competitive players who aren't ****s. Make the cars equal to make it fair. I hope a game like that is possible in my life time!

I think the Renault is excellent actually, handles brilliantly. The Ferrari is dreadful though.
I bought F1 2011 for PC after reading quite a few reviews, and I just don't like the game at all. It feels like an arcade game.
I'll still with Grand Prix Legends, it might be a simulator based in the late 60's but at least it's a simulator, and teh 1960's car are awesome. I think my next F1 based game will be rFactor.
Some updates from their twitter:
- You won't be able to design your own helmets
- They're tweaking the sensitivity of the cars to make them more fragile, but no wholesale changes to the damage model.
- They have two t-cam views, one which is dead centre, and another which is slightly to the left like on TV.
- Race distances you can choose are: 3L, 5L, 25%, 50%, 100%
- When a car ahead is subject to a blue flag, his outline colour changes to blue on the mini-map.
- No podium
- Tyre/fuel management and pit strategy are going to play a more important role than ever. Big improvements made!
- AI improvements
- No formation lap

More fail then, looks like il be continuing my self imposed exile from that game for at least another year. Seriously, get Turn 10 involved
