You cannot be serious! that function actually exists in the game. And here was me thinking the Forza optional racing line guide, auto brake etc. was nooby

Id prefer more like what they did with the 2010 & 2011 covers, Are they official? Having to pick one it would have to be the "failed (ignoring that) and successful" for featuring the best looking car. Edit: to answer my own question i looked it up and it depends which country you liVe in Hamilton, Senna, Petrov - UK, Brazil Vettel, Di Resta, Glock - France, Portugal, Australia, US, Japan, Canada Schumacher, Raikkonen, De La Rosa - Germany, Poland Alonso, Kobayashi, Vergne - Italy, Spain
That's Kobayashi's helmet. But Perez's yellow camera. Already mistakes made. Not looking good for the game!
I doubt i'll get any tbh. I've heard on videos (really too lazy to get links) that the assist users get more of an advantage than on 2011. :/ I'm going to get Project CARS instead.
You are right, **** people get favoured over hard working players, that know the ins and outs of a track, breathing on a corner (PENALTY)... Hit by someone who is on your outside turning in your front wing (PENALTY)... Glitching SC... AI drivers... Invisible walls... Crap damage... Cars not going invisible in front, so when they spin out.. you have ****ed it... And many more things, I know that are not going to be completely sorted out, because Codemasters are crap. Starting in 9th after qualifying 1st...
the most annoying is brake-testers giving you penalties imo, lost count of how many penalties I've got because someone has hit the brakes in a place no braking is needed just so I'd get 10 sec/disq, v annoying. As to the 'favouritism', can't you turn off the assists in the 'room' options? you could in 2010 (I use some assists because I don't have a wheel and pedal I have to use a broken joypad thanks to suzuka)
I turn off brake assist, but to max out high speed around tracks I have TC at full, but driving line off, abs on, pit assist off (in the belief it makes them faster haha).. If TC off made me faster I would turn it off, but I can't be doing with having to correct whilst some douche is flying past me, we need every advantage we have to clear the minges that have no clue about what they are doing. I have already done a season without driving aids in career, so it is nothing unfamiliar..
when I say assists I mean ABS & TC, (and the gears because they can't be manual on a Joypad for some reason). I used the racing line to get used to the tracks quickly, although in some cases I actually found it more of a hindrance than a help as I had different lines on a few of the corners as I found I could put the power down earlier the way I did it. With the ABS I still pump brake for control but it being on stops me accidentally locking up using the triggers which seem to have a very small window between not working and being on full.
Exactly, same here mate. I pump the brakes also but the brakes conk out.. it happens to me at the end of straights, ridiculous... Don't know if it is the controller or the game :L
I think what we can learn is that F1 2011 is a stupid game, and the people who play it (myself included) are silly prats for wasting our money on it.
