Once again looks like England do not work on patterns of play when in possession

So disjointed and boring too watch

Southgate really should have rotated the squad, got some crackinv options there to give teams something to think about but sticking to the same team (bar trent n Gallagher swapping) for 3 games when the balance looks totally wrong

Even Gordon would do better i have to say that, no Gerard, Lampard, Grealish, no player trying to get passed another, way too slow, bad passes made, we need to win the group orGermany/Portugal await Portugal have been brilliant.

They look like 11 highly talented football players who've found themselves in a WW2 POW camp and need to play a game, to occupy the Germans, while their friends dig a tunnel to freedom ...

... the 'manager' is Richard Attenborough who believes in his system and everyone must comply or be court martialed.

None of the players know each other, and there's no plan, just get out there and do whatever you think to confuse the Gerries ...

... just don't make it look like we're confusing ourselves <laugh>

England would look twice the team if they took absolutely anyone off and replaced them with someone who does absolutely nothing but scream 'GET UP THE ****ING PITCH' every five seconds.

Fair play to the fans because this has been ****. Reeks of all the tournaments where we go out with a whimper after the manager had no idea what our best system or 11 is. Sounds like palmer is coming on at least, hopefully does well
