I can't remember a time when I've seen so little enthusiasm for a major competition, I wonder why. I'm looking forward to Friday and hoping Scotland can grind out a draw against Germany ... ... unlike many English people I like Scotland and hope they can get out of the group. They certainly won't be short of support, even from my little corner there are people going with or without tickets. This lad deserves a bit of support himself ... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/scotland-fan-euro-2024-walk-to-germany-b2559981.html
I think Trent is probably going to get the nod in midfield but I wouldn't be shocked to see Gallagher in there. Wharton and Mainoo are unlikely to start in the tournament in my view. The rest is spot on though.
It's a bit of a miserable slog for England fans. We know we're going out in disappointment sooner or later, and when you go you're treated as hooligans in waiting. I don't think we have that element any more (too much risk of a messed up hairdo, fake tan sweats off and it's difficult to fight in sliders). The Scotland support turns up and it's non stop party time. I'd rather be in their situation than ours. They'll have a great time whatever happens, we'll only enjoy it if we win it.
I like that side but there’s not a chance he starts Eze. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Gordon get the nod on the left…
My mates are heading over today for the Scotland germany game, sounds like the atmosphere is already class
