I would start Vardy and Wilshere in the next game against Slovakia. Kane and Ali have largely been passengers in this tournament so far.

Its funny I was thinking Kane would be Englands best player but he looks tired/lethargic.

Wilshere for sure needs more game time. He looked sharp when he came on against Russia.

I think some of the Spurs players have been out of their feet since they collapsed at Chelsea towards the end of the domestic season.

Found myself not caring when England scored the winner, I think my interest in the national team might have been permanently damaged

I know what you mean. I think, for me, it's the constant media overhyping everything - but then I could choose to ignore it (media overhype, that is). I hope I can beat the ennui when they start the knock-out stages. I feel a bit uncomfortable admitting it but the bit I liked best was Kane not coming out for the second half. Something tells me as an Englishman I shouldn't be thinking this way but ........

Lovely ball from Rosicky that led to the Czech Goal. He certainly rolled back the years with that. But Croatia look the real deal and one of the favs to win the tournament for me. The Czech's look a ghost of their former selves and Cech has looked dodgy, especially with his goal kicks.

Wow what a game, Croatia dominated the Czech's but somehow it's 2-2. Add the crowd trouble and its been proper drama. Shame Rosicky looks to have picked up an injury.

I actually think this is our most interesting England side in years. Young and very attacking. Yet people are more sceptical and narrative than ever.

In terms of football our first half against Russia was some of the best football seen at the tournament soo far. Only Germany and Spain have have looked sharper.

My money is still on Spain to win it but I genuinely think England have a decent shot.

    Xhaka had another good game.

In fact Xhaka made more passes and more tackles than Pogba and Cabaye combined today.

I really hope we sign Lukaku as well, can't see it happening but would be awesome if we would. Particularly if we sign him and the Dortmund attacking midfielder (the one with the scrabble name!)

I find myself watching the Wales game.more and haven't been disappointed. They've looked good and Ramsey is having a corker. He's been everywhere and gettinfy into excellent positions of attack. Amazing how he does it with so little pace.

Decent first half for England against Slovakia, albeit without making the breakthrough. I think we just need to be patient and keep playing the same way, the chances will come in the 2nd half, hopefully we can put one or two away.
