Indeed.
It was coming anyway, what a crock of ****. So a 31 year low against the dollar was around the corner apparently. Absolutely ****ing clueless, delusional bullshit.

Wow Tobes....is this the level it's got too?Serious question.

Haha, Sisu would have all over this like a tramp on chipsAnd that's the problem, you can't argue against a diatribe of fantasy. When someone can basically make up anything how do you respond to that. At times I think SISU's back... but then I think he sounded far more rational![]()

Just curious like....Wow Tobes....is this the level it's got too?

From the crash was coming anyway, to I don't care about its impact as it won't drastically affect me. Just proves you're both delusional and someone who's likely to have **** all to lose, if you can come out with a comment like that.
So why try and pontificate about a subject that you admit you know **** all about?
You really are a thick, boring old **** mate.

Just curious like....
Amazing isn't it, the "I'm alright Jack" sentiment while hating the London types who held the exact same view when others suffered. Goes to show the level of hypocrisy... and given the right set of circumstances how one set of people are no different to the other.
Who made that comment like?Anyways back on track......watched a bit of the politics show this morning and one of the guest said that at the start of the campaign the remain party, all sat round a table and tried to think of 5 good reasons to remain in the EU. After going round and round in circles, they couldn't come up with any. Once they lost the economy argument, even with all of the help that the financial sector tried to give them, they were stumped!!
If the supposedly "best minds" in the country didn't have an answer, beyond the economy, how the hell were the rest of us mere mortals supposed to know?
Ageism?Yet again you ignore what I wrote just to keep your baseless argument alive. Now you are resorting to ageism, that's really helping your cause. Tobes. Now **** off, there's a good lad, Tobes.![]()

This society existed long before the referendum.

I saw the same programme. The person you're quoting was a Daily Mail journalist. I thought you are only interested in genuine debate on here? BTW what did you think of the piece by the Remain Campaigner before that?
Can you honestly not see the use of xenophobic, racist terminologies to highlight the bigotted view of those they're aimed at? The Comic Strip Presents Five Go Mad in Dorset used references to "gollywogs" and "darkies" to highlight racism by aiming it directly at those who used such outdated remarks. Stephen K Amos and Lenny Henry both use the words "coon" in their acts to paraphrase people they've come across who still use that terminology and hold on to those out of date views. Unless you're honestly suggesting they're all racist for doing so. It's fairly obvious that EVERY remark used by the likes of @Just Stan and @Tobes and myself have done just that to highlight the same bigotry in people like @petersaxton . The fact the sarcasm and humour in doing so, is beyond you, is neither here nor there. It's fairly obvious to anyone why it's being used to mock others' backward "Love Thy Neighbour" thinking... and to be honest I think you know full well too but are pretending to plead ignorance.
Where I think you have an argument is in saying such jokes are being used to all Brexit ppl shouldn't have that type of humour aimed at them in order to portray them all as racist or xenophobic. I think there are many that doesn't apply to, but for @petersaxton based on his comments on this thread it absolutely does. Where you let yourselves down is in coming to his defence over his bigotry simply because he happened to vote the same way as you. Ironically, all you're doing is confounding the misconception that you're all bigots which clearly you're not.
Ageism?
Old was merely stating a fact, as was boring and of course - ****.![]()

Didn't know that, as explained to Tobes, but thought she sounded as though she was In the know!
I did listen to the young lady who headed up the remain campaign and I think she reiterated what we all saw, two campaigns based on lies and accusations, which kind of makes the comments I made in the previous post more credible.
