How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

  • Total voters

Farage has already come out and said he looks forward to the contest.

I know nowt about the area up for by-election so I can't really comment. I recognise the MP that has stood down, even though I didn't know the name because I've seen him on quite a few politic programmes.

Reform will be throwing everything they have at this. And Farage will have his pockets stuffed with so much funny money, he won't be able to pull his trousers up.

exactly, and like that barrister says in his video, this is a broadcasting company, weaponising the state against the population to avoid the consequences of their actions ie being **** and totally irrelevant for the last 20 years.
I've said many time, in the 21st century, the only thing produced by the BBC that I have been remotely interested in, is the Planet Earth documentaries and all the other Attenborough spin offs.
What the **** else is there to tempt us? Strictly? Eastenders? ****ing, Doctor Who? Like come on....this wouldnt be a license fee, it would be a state imposed tax! Unnacceptable!

You forgot Mrs Browns Boys.

Was reading a bit about the ongoing Nottingham inquiry (the two students and the guy who got murdered).

Surprised it’s not headline news even in the Yookay. Really horrendous stuff and terrible conduct from the Caldocane family in various respects. The victims’ families have been incredibly dignified for years - far more so than the various authorities who failed them with the murder itself and after deserve. Feels like they’re finally breaking and speaking out very honestly about the whole thing but it’s not really being amplified by media.

****in Rupert Lowe though. The same bloke who phoned the feds to grass up a bunch of charity rowers because he thought it was a small dingy fully of brown people, off the coast of Norfolk <laugh>

He's another grifter like Farage, he'll try and appeal to all of the conspiracy theorists and right wing nutters and his defunding the BBC and scraping digital ID is just what they want to hear.

the "stupid" majority lol

Were taking England back from you pink haired lesbians

Wanted to revisit this.

I'm not calling people who vote for reform stupid (although some are)

I'm saying that people vote for stupid stuff, because they get duped into it.

Reform are the enemy of the working class. They will trash workers rights, employment rights, benefits for people who need it, privatise the NHS, cut taxation for public services and deregulate big business to remove protections for consumers and workers in order that bigger profits can be made

This is why 75% of their donors come from millionaires. Because they exist for the millionaires

Farage took a £5m bribe from a crypto boss. Quid pro quo

He's has jumped on the anti immigration ticket (he's not the first) to whip up fear and anxiety, and blame the darkies for crumbling public services, and vast swathes of working class people, who are struggling with their bills and cost of living are falling for it. Farage knows spreading fear and paranoia is a vote winner.

If they understood how Reform's policies would harm them, they'd never do it. But a lot of folk don't even know what Reform's polices are other than send the darkies home.

Agree with all of this, it was similar when Farage was selling them bollocks in order to leave the EU, he just made stuff up, and hoodwinked the proles into voting leave.

The most startling thing about the Brexit vote was the Welsh farmers (it would have been more apparent on our local news than national, probably) voted to a man for Brexit, even though they then lost all their EU subsidies and ended up moaning about that too. Idiots.

Anyway, the folk you refer to vote for who speaks their language the loudest, and one of the big problems with labour is that no one knew their actual policies either, bar Starmer visibly and regularly throwing money at other countries and leaving ours to rot. They don't see what work is (allegedly) going on in the background.

His little speech was too late.

Is there actually a point to Restore? Comes across as Lowe being bitter after falling out with his mates and trying to split the vote in whichever seats he can find some mug to stand and probably self-fund losing their deposit.

The most notable thing is that they have said from
the outset that the repair process is going to be painful.

The electoral babies who believe they can have
Nordic state heathcare/welfare regimes while paying
Singapore taxes can therefore vote as they always do.
