I still imagine a pod convoy being the travel of the future. They will be synched with the technology, I'm not chatting all this hyperloop **** designed to travel at ridiculous speeds, we don't need all this vacuum based transport, let's not run until we can walk, we don't really need it all on our island or certainly not in the early stages, thus avoiding great expense.
We've already got the infastructure of our motorways to work with, redesign do whatever you like, we could even use our EV's as our transport pods and evolve from there. Basic stuff, not all this futuristic bollocks, that then ends up like HS2 and downgraded because we can't afford it. I think some people have been watching too many futuristic films, they need to get out more.
