I agree, I think of the current crop, Hunt is one who's actually alright.

Must be said tho, he's to the "left" of the majority of Tories. That party let too many closest Ukippers slip through the cracks and they've formed a bloc that dominates policy.

Honest thing is tho, a lot of the hard right wing Tories are too brown for a bunch of right wing British parties, so they all had no choice other than Conservative.

they didn't fall through the cracks there was a purge by the Party Leadership and local associations to replace "remainers" and socially liberai MP's with hard liners both in terms of Brexit and social issues .

    I remember Johnson's purge.

Around 80 mps including a few who were in the previous cabinet, a good number of the replacing MPs though weren't UKIP simpletons, a few were nabbed from Labour. Included Lee Anderson.

Boris was socially liberal compared to the current crop, he basically sacrificed his socially similar chums for Brexiteers and felt his cult of personality would help him survive.

Some of these hard right under cover UKIPers though have been in the party for yonks. Majority of them, like I said, are far too dark to represent the Reforms of this country

This would be solved if we had a better electoral system by the way. They could just run for the parties that actually represent them, not all bunched under a ****ing Oak Tree logo.

Theresa May standing down, Maidenhead will be an interesting one to look out for.

Could be battled out between all three parties.

Weird town. Lots of youngish people getting onto the property ladder especially now there’s Crossrail. Lots of old fuds. Lovely football ground but bit of a dump of a town centre for a relatively affluent area.

Would need a hell of a swing and the opposition parties won’t work together to make it viable so expect they’ll still get 40% or so and keep it.

If Labour were tactical they could hand it to the Libs by withdrawing, or you know give them a good shot. They won't of course.

Don't need to either tho, Labour are on course for like 400 seats.

They rowed back on that Johnson government commitment, after Liz Truss crashed the economy.

We’ve just notified of the annual increase for my mums home. The yearly costs will just tip over 6 figures.

Agreed - the smelly bastards should be summarily executed along with cyclists that think red lights don't apply to them ... make London's streets safe for pedestrians again! and less whiffy - I don't want to arrive at work stinking of tropical fruit fart or any of the other obnoxious clouds that the vapey ****s indiscriminately leave to envelop the poor clods in their wake ...

You have my sympathy - my mum spent her last 6 months in a Quaker run home in Leicester, which was lovely and very reasonable in terms of fees - admittedly she didn't need full time nursing care and it was more akin to a bedsit with cooking and en-suite - but there was nursing and security staff on site and everybody was very friendly and helpful. How old's your mum, mate?

Thanks Fosse. Mum was 83 on Thursday and has advanced dementia. Her care needs are full time and we don’t begrudge paying for this as we are fortunate to be able to cover the costs. However, her home costs have gone up 23% in the last 2 years, which stings a bit as we don’t see a 25% improvement in her care!
