How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

  • Total voters

As much as I'd want Conservatives to lose power. 400+ seats going to Labour is not ideal for UK. You never want ANY party to have that much power.

Countries and economies fare best when adjusted slowly. 400 seats they can do whatever the hell they want. Good/bad... far better if labour win by a much smaller majority and have to fight for each bill and feel pressure from moderates within their own party.

7pm tonight on SKY News - Politics Hub with Sophy Ridge, Interview with Keir Starmer. I've seen a brief clip of it, and he came across well, discussing his parents. Before the football so will give it a watch, see how it goes...

That's like saying if Liverpool were bottom of the league I wouldn't want them relegated, for the sake of rivalry.
FCK that ****!

400 seats they can do whatever they want. When the numbers are close, sensible minds will go against the party and stop stupid ideas progressing. When you have a huge majority, you don't have to worry about a handful not backing the party line. You don't have to make sure your bills make sense and that you've thought them through. The same is true for any, and every, party. Left unchecked they do stupid things. Large majorities and lack of dissenting voices are dangerous things.

Don't care if there's an armed revolution at this point

They've got to go

Trump dont need $25

He just sold a bunch of $100 Chinese trainers

It's the main reason why he's joined. No way he is getting re-elected as an independent.

I doubt he will as Reform but he needed a party and who else was there.

And it keeps him in the limelight a while longer. Someone will have to drag the **** off the stage eventually

Every time I see one of @bobby's posts it make me want to hate all chinese ppl.

The bloke should be shot banned!

But I'm not being racist guv!

I think the interesting thing is that it was Brady who requested the meeting.

Beyond that it's hard to say if it means anything.

Maybe they were just having a piss up? No lockdown so it's allowed now.

Haiti's government has collapsed thanks to surging gang violence.

The players who could take over...

Can't help looking at them and thinking they're Haiti's version of Obama on the left, Putin in the middle, and Boris on the right <laugh>

Got to be final doors now, it's not helping the country by clinging on in there, businesses also need to know. It don't matter what they do, they are not going to change voters minds - I can judge that from my own thoughts, I weren't even interested in anything they had to say in the Budget, you can smell the desperation. The trouble is with Sunak he actually believes hes' in touch with the people in someway with his open communications, yet he's always left wanting when it comes to immediately dealing with cases of racism, he seems to struggle to find the words that are required, he needs to fook off now and go and open up a chemist chain, he found his level there.
