Absolutely no crime. I've got to say though, if it turned out to be true he'd get some stick, and while I would never condone homophobia, it couldn't happen to a nicer bastard...

It does sound a bit like you would though...

Assuming for a minute it was true, then I think it's really important he doesn't get 'stick' for it

He should be criticised for the type of person he is and the things he does...not the type of the person he prefers to put his penis into and the the things he does to them

Heard this rumour the Monday after the Burton game.

Thought it bizarre, but the level and quantity of detail surprised me.

I asked my source where she heard this, and she said in the hospitality area at City from a long time sponsor of the club.

There were one or two other details in the rumour which I won't divulge.

Keeping an open mind on this.

If it were true, what would the impact on our club be in terms of stability/ownership?

Someone I know bumped into an old female friend who he knew had been with Ehab years ago. He asked her, for some reason, whether the rumours about him having a little willy were true, but her response was "Actually he has quite a big one, but he prefers putting it in boys."

Incidentally, I think it's true that he and his old man have had a big fall out, but more to do with Ehab's lying than anyone's sexual preference. Ehab blamed Peter Chapman for details of the US consortium last summer being made public, and Assem recently found out that was a lie.

Far less shocked by his sexuality, that actually doesn't surprise me at all.

The link to an ex player is the main part of the gossip I'd say. ALthough to be honest who cares, there's no crime is there.

If there's any truth in this, I feel sorry for the footballer, not because of who he is with or his sexual preference, but because the media will be all over them like a rash.

If it is true, and what I think will happen with the media does, in the longer term it should be a good thing, as it'll mean dripping on about who is and who isn't gay will no longer be seen as newsworthy.

I didnt read it as a defence of Ehab, I saw it as pulling people up on sniggering about some bodies sexuality, which is exactly what this thread is.
