OLM posted some documents from Companies House on the New Owners thread. It looks like the Allams have reduced the issued share capital of Hull City Tigers Limited by another £2 million. Looks like Allamhouse just collected another £2 million from its ownership of Hull City. The documents will be made public in the next few days. Interesting times.
So does all this speculation mean that the Allams' so called "Gift to the City of Hull" leads to the ruination of Hull City AFC and the elevation of Hull FC to the top sports club in the region ? They should be treated the same way as King Charles I was way back in the mid 1600's if it turns out that way - banishment !
That was the message I got out of this, if you chant bad things about me and the family then I will not sell. In other words stop chanting against us.
" I understand some fans were upset about a name change application but why they continue to be upset when it's fallen away is beyond me. There's no current application for a name change and hasn't been in the last 3 seasons. Surely that's history and we can move on." Unfortunately not. Someone continues to refuse to use our name in club communications, even though they are aware of the anger it causes. Incompetent or malevolent?
He's so full of ****, it's painful to read... Exclusive: Ehab Allam Q&A part one: Failed takeovers, reducing debt, protests and financial health Hull City vice chairman Ehab Allam sat down with football writer Philip Buckingham to discuss the proposed sale of the club and its financial health in the wake of relegation from the Premier League. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/exclusive-ehab-allam-q-part-637140
"I think we’re the best run club in the Football League and arguably one of the top six in English football." ****ing muppet.
The important word is 'current' which clearly suggests they might apply again at some point Have they ever said that they'll never try again? Have they tried to ignore the ruling anyway and refused to use the club name? No we can't move on...and that is the fault of the Allams
How long before someone pretends that this latest Ehab version of events is fact regarding that takeover stuff? It's the biggest load of **** going, but we know some on here who'll really enjoy gobbling it up. Can any of the financial boffins make sense of this bit:? "We’ve never, ever taken out a loan against the training ground or the stadium. The previous owners had taken out a mortgage on the stadium but not us. There was a mistake that was corrected. Anyone could request a charge on a property. A charge was made (by Macquarie Bank) when they had no right to and it was removed. We’ve never agreed to borrowing against the training ground. We’ve never had to. We’d borrowed money against money that was due to us from other clubs, definitely not secured against anything other than what we were owed from other clubs. It was revoked straight away."
So he says he would invest "If we had a different relationship with supporters". Did he say in the interview what the aim was this season? I just picked out that he thought we'd climb the table.
"We’ve achieved all we can given the limitations set by the FA in terms of rebranding"...still hankering after a name change then, because it will mean more can be achieved!
"We’re still contributing with our time and effort, even if that means no further funds" Oh well, at least we know now that they won't be putting anymore money in.
Assem Allam @allam_assem As Ehab says, the name change is history. Latest news available on The Hull Tigers Facebook & Tigers website.
