Are there any questions around his breakdown of relations with Steve Bruce and his management of pre-season recruitment in the full copy?
First class **** and I cannot even be bothered to read it. YOU ****ING ****ER, WASTE OF SPACE AND FRESH AIR
What a delusional **** Ehab is! Just **** the **** off. When you get there, **** off some more. Prick!
Also "we’re still punching above our weight", sounds like he doesn't even think we should be in this division.
'I understand some fans were upset about a name change application but why they continue to be upset when it’s fallen away is beyond me' That sums the twat up in a sentence for me, if he genuinely thinks this is just about the name change he's deluded. If he can't see what else he's done to turn the fans against him then we're never going to get through to him, either he's so idiotic and incompetent he doesn't realise he's doing it or more likely he's so adamant that he's right he actually see's his numerous failings as victories, the man is a complete and utter bellend.
I honestly think he just likes the attention, if they sell the club then he's back to been a nobody, people will stop talking about him, the media won't be interested anymore and he's just be another rich kid spending Daddy's money that nobody cares about. At least now he gets attention, people know who he is and talk about him, he's like Piers Morgan who has to stay controversial to stay relevant, the worst thing for people like this is to be ignored, they'd rather be notorious and hated than forgotten.
Yep. That and the bit about rebranding and the FA. The rest actually is quite good. Interesting the confirmation that the Dai deal did fall down at the PL incompetent and **** test, there must have been something really fishy to fail that. Puts some of our resident conspiracy crackpots to bed. Interesting again that they managed to acquire Reading afterwards. Also on the Chien Lee deal, 60% isn't a good deal. No deal is better than a bad deal. It's good to actually find it about these things I think.
You don't come out in the public with details like that if they're false. IMO. Particularly when bringing the premier league into it.
Interesting interview. Ehab can't sell us and is staying. Bullying him will make him stay, so we should stop it if we want them to sell. Convenient, but irrelevant. They will sell when they get a price they will accept whether we're protesting or not. As to the relationship between the Allams and supporters, the die was cast 2 or 3 years ago. It wasn't just the FA rejecting the name change and the childish refusal by the Allams to use the name Hull City that soured it. The turning points for the current levels of opposition were the Airco Arena, the evictions (East and Upper West) and the removal of concessions. I would also add in their failure to make us a mid-table Premier League team despite having access to unprecedented amounts of TV money. Despite having spent half a billion pounds we are back to were we started. heavily in debt, in the championship and rebuilding the team with young loanees. The only difference is we owe the Allams the money not the finance houses and the loanees are from Chelsea and not Manchester United.
He's full of ****, he's still claiming the membership scheme is a success, that there's 16,000 at every home game, that there's no avoidance of the use of the club name and that we're the best run football club in the league.
If it's a success on the books then it's a success, that's something we'll never find out. Yes that is bollocks, facts tell us 15980 is our average attendance so we're at least 20 short. All the clubs releases say Hull City AFC and have done for some time. We probably are the best run club in the football league.
Those last two paragraphs are appalling and proves that he doesn't want to prevent fraudulent use of concession tickets he just wants to maximise revenue from them.
I have spoken to two friends of the Allam family who largely speak well of them and attempt to stick up for them. However, even they would go along with this sentiment.
Just an article of self congratulations. You will never change their perspective on that, they believe it and whatever anyone else says they will continue to believe it. The one thing they cannot grasp, is that for many fan the club has been and will continue to be their religion, their sole interest and enjoyment in life. Great grand parents, Grand parents, parents, son & daughters in many cases have supported the club through thick and thin down the years, and these people just don't understand or want to understand what the history of the club means to many.
Venting anger towards him seems to give him more incentive to stay. As Airlie said he likes the attention and without being the owner of City he would simply fade into insignificance.. All I've got to say really...
