If he can't get a look-in with all the problems we've got at LB I make that right. I wouldn't have believed it 2 or 3 years ago, I had him down as a banker to play at Championship level at least.

Pretty dull game which we shaded on chances created. Ahearne-Grant made two or three decent runs as did Yam Fam but nothing came from them. Their goal came from a lofted shot from Lofts. Star of the show was Djikisteel who controlled the midfield. Bowry and Morgan Fox lookalike Nathan Fox had good solid games in the centre of defence. Hanlan was totally marked out of the game. Barnes was also good at right back and made a good surging run in the first half.

It finished Charlton 0 Hull 1

Mitov
Barnes, Bowry, Fox, Edwards
Yamfam, Lapslie, Djikisteel, Carter,
Ahearne- Grant, Hanlan

Seems Timmy Abraham has joined Fulham from us after a trial??????????????????????????????

Oh well, that's one of my youngsters to watch gone then <grr> and there was I suggesting he be given a run out in the first team <cry>

Dick any ready u think for the step up to the first team?

I think Djikisteel, Barnes, Lapslie will all be pushing for a first team place. Djiksteel is tall strong with a good technique. Barnes at right back is good going forward and has improved his defensive work. Lapslie in central midfield can pick a pass, can tackle and has some creativity.

And we'll probably sell the lot for a £5 and a twix.

Mikhail Kennedy out for the season. Ruptured ACL. Feel really sorry for him. I have spoken to him a couple of times and he is a nice lad.

Terrible news for a young lad to get such a bad injury at this stage of his career. It will be very difficult for him to recover, although I'm sure the club will give him every chance.
