This is good news. I am going tomorrow and so I will post a report. https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5c...rster-caskey-and-page-set-to-return-to-action
Two crocks, sadly. We should release Lewis Page this summer. He makes Darren Anderton look like Robocop.
When he's fit Page is a better LB than Purrington, but why disrupt a defense which has been the key to our recent good form? I don't think Bowyer will.
Good game at the Valley today in the last game of the U23 season. We beat Burnley 3-0 with two goals from Doughty and one from Odoh. All three goals were excellent strikes. Doughty was the star of the show, his Pace constantly worried Burnley. We had two trialists at centre half Vega from Ipswich and Mingi from West Ham. Vega was good Mingi was minging. Forster- Caskey coasted through the game and misplaced a couple of passes. He was given 45 minutes. Page played well and was taken off after 60 minutes. Cardigan man on CL says we are releasing nine players at the moment. A mixture of first team and under 23s I don't know who they are but Marshall, Cummings, Fosu and Kennedy were mentioned. At a guess I would say the others might be Ajose, Mascoll, Bowry, Umerah Hackett- Fairchild. Here's how we line up please log in to view this image XI | Maxwell, Yao, Mingi, Vega, Page, Morgan, Odoh, Forster-Caskey, Doughty, Kalinauskas, Aouachria. Subs | Harness, Keefe, Stevenson, Ocran. #cafc
I thought that Stevenson seemed to do well when given the chance at the start of the season, so it's nice that he has got the extra 12 months as well.
Released Blues Youngster Vega Signs Pro Deal at Charlton Friday, 3rd May 2019 20:22 Released Blues youngster Luca Vega has signed a professional contract with Charlton Athletic after a trial. As reported in March, defender Vega, 18, who had been with the Blues since the age of seven, was told he would not be offered terms at the end of this season at the completion of his two-year academy scholarship. Vega, who spent time on loan at Lowestoft earlier in the season, subsequently began a trial with the Addicks, who the Blues will face in League Onenext season, playing games for their U18s and U23s, and impressed enough to win a pro deal. please log in to view this image
Yes Ipswich, I saw him in the last game of the U23 season. He is a left sided centre half. I was very impressed with him.
