Good stuff from woods....pity series already lost but nice to see some genuine hostile fast bowling from an England quick....

Wouldn't fancy the windies having to chase anything above 200 in 4th innings as pitch has a lot of variable bounce...
Yep they brought him out there & to play him in the last test is diabolical, now they know what they missed in first two tests, Curran not yet proven in test matches & they thought his batting might help bu didn’t.

Yes, who'd have thought that pure pace would be a factor in the Caribbean?

England going pretty well today, 108-2 at lunch and a lead of 231. Looks like we should get a consolation win.

The pitch is still doing a bit for the quicks. Wood will be looking forward to getting another go on it.

Joe Root what a hero
Story coming out, that he was being sledged by the West Indies fast bowler and was heard to say on the wicket microphone "Thats not an insult mate, there is nothing wrong with being gay"

He was asked about it later and had made no fuss say the incident is over.. and he certainly used his bat to do the talking.

The entire Chelsea team
Most of the man utd lot
And a few from spurs
Just proved my point Kiwi...it obviously does still matter that some one like Root has to point out that in fact being gay is not an insult.

England's whitewash of Sri Lanka was a little discredited by some because they had lost a few top players, but it looks a bit better now after the Lankans just beat South Africa in the first Test in Durban. It was an incredible victory, successfully chasing down 304 to win after they had lost their 9th wicket with still 78 needed. Number eleven Fernando survived 16 overs, allowing Kusal Perera to reach 153 not out and secure victory. Brilliant.

A bit of poetic licence Strolls :emoticon-0131-angel

It will probably prove costly as this flat track is a batsman's dream.

Yes, but the Windies aren't showing much urgency at the moment (as Gayle hits Moeen for six). They're going to need 350, I reckon.
