Joe Root reckons we've been 'outperformed', no sh*t Sherlock. Overconfident and thinking they just had to turn up to win was our downfall here, plus daft selection of bowlers in 1st Test set the pattern...

And Broad was sacrificed so we could bat down to number 10, his bowling record in Barbados was better than the rest. We may have had a chance if he'd played to put their batsmen under the cosh but from that first day we were a beaten side. I agree our batsmen were pathetic most of the time in both matches...
 
A bit better from England today with Buttler and Stokes going well, but then Stokes is out caught and bowled. Wait a minute though, it's a no-ball!

Stokes was off the field, but is called back.

Modicum of respect back for England today from 69/3 to 231/4 at the close.....even taking into account stokes great escape....
Longest they batted in the series.....
 
Good stuff from woods....pity series already lost but nice to see some genuine hostile fast bowling from an England quick....

Wouldn't fancy the windies having to chase anything above 200 in 4th innings as pitch has a lot of variable bounce...
 
Yep they brought him out there & to play him in the last test is diabolical, now they know what they missed in first two tests, Curran not yet proven in test matches & they thought his batting might help bu didn’t.
