Good call re 350, 360 is the highest WI ODI score against England. I went to meet my mate for a couple of London Pride's at the local bar after my last post. Back now to see Bairstow channelling Gayle right from the off. Roy owes us but can't see England getting near that total.
63 without loss of 7 overs....I'd say Windies happy with 360 as a good target to defend and England happy with score as it wasn't 400+...and 360 is very doable.
164 for 1 and Jason Roy has a hundred. Looking good for England - and for me as I've got Roy to be England's top scorer.
West Indies post 289 from their 50 overs in the second one-dayer, which is unlikely to be enough. They just don't seem to approach these games in the right way. There were 146 dot balls in their innings, which represents just about half of their allotted overs. Gayle in particular shows no particular urgency when he bats, and never runs more than a single. Meanwhile Sri Lanka look they might beat South Africa again in the second Test in Port Elizabeth. They are 60/2 overnight, chasing 197 to win.
