I was at Highfield Road that Thursday night in May 77.
It was a real belter of a match up until we equalised to go 2-2.
I saw Yorath (Coventry) and our Norman Hunter wave at each other with about 10 minutes to go.
After that they didn't come in our half and we stayed in ours.
It wasn't a fix until 10 minutes to go.
Then it most certainly was.
That isn't my main gripe mate, it's understandable.
Jimmy Hill coerced the referee into delaying kick off.
He then had the Sunderland score announced.
He was on the so called disciplinary panel that 'investigated' what happened. He warned Coventry not to do it again

He later joked about what happened.
After that night I kept a bottle of beer to celebrate the day he died ... bitter?
No it was lager actually but it still tasted beautiful after all those years
