Levy revealed the Faustian pact made for new WHL : There could never be a Wembleyesque capacity because the transport infrastructure cannot handle that number of spectators. And with Chelsky possibly being long-term tenants at Wembley, IMHO a repeat of the 2016-17 season for CL fixtures etc is unlikely.
I love how the headline is directly sticking it to the Daily Fail... https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...stadium-in-time-for-next-season-a3720356.html
Kieron Dyer has popped out from whichever hole he's been living in to point out some of our first team are paid less than he was getting paid at Newcastle fifteen years ago In other words, Kieron Dyer admits he thinks he was grossly overpaid...
Newcastle have thrived on the back of it, though.........won nothing of note since the 50's, relegated twice in the last decade and spent a ****ing fortune on Kieron Dyer's wages. This is his only career highlight...................trying to fight Lee Bowyer.........he lost that too. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
I'm no fan of the Chelsea twat, but it just shows the kind of mess that Mike Ashley took over at St James' Park. Ridiculous, unsustainable spending with no vision for the future and no youth system to speak of. Madness. Lucky that they didn't go the way of Leeds, regardless of the flaws of their current owner.

More good club PR. This one from UEFA ... https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...hampions-league-breakthrough-xi-a3726831.html
Have no idea how significant this is, but on the face of it it's very much a positive story for the club. Equally noteworthy is that Spurs don't get a mention in this BBC article despite featuring at No. 5 - above Real Madrid!!. Jamie Redknapp probably exploded with delight when hearing about some Spurs players being spotted in Barcelona Then somebody told him it was just our winter training...
Totally agree. A ridiculous idea and one the players do not buy into, despite what they may say on our official site.
https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...imb-rich-list-with-305m-revenue-a3747586.html Fear of new WHL is now justified for the usual suspects. A revenue gap of 70m is easily bridged based on these figures. Once our Jamie sees this, he'll be on overtime selling manager and players (in ADDITION to what he has already committed to prior to the Poool game) .
Funny how the press are trying to divert attention away from the fact Man Utd's revenue is just £1.5m more than Los Ladrones made, compared to being £52m better off the year before. I'm guessing all those backhanders they're paying to Mino Raiola explains the reduced growth...
