As I told you all, for a PL club X to make in UEFA prize money from the EL what a club Y makes for just getting to the CL group stages, X has to reach the EL final winning EVERY game en route.
In a similar vein, my first intent with the full report was to head to the wage bills to see if/how we could satisfy all those "what he wants" chatter.
I remember a few years ago reading how, back in 2009-10, Fulham received something like £8m for reaching the Europa League final - which was significantly less than what Rangers received for finishing bottom of their Champions League group that same season. One day it might occur to UEFA why clubs only seem to give a toss about the Europa league once they reach the quarter finals...

In other news, Matt Law in the Torygraph is reporting that we're about to offer improved contracts to Poch, Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min, Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen - while (before anyone asks) Moussa Dembele has said he won't discuss a new deal until after the World Cup. There's also been a couple of reports (literally) suggesting that Levy has shelved plans to bring in a new Head of Recruitment, which would suggest that he trusts the judgment of Poch and Steve Hitchen to identify the players we need and not do a Baldini and/or Comolli in the process.
Is that supposed to be comforting? If he's happy, the agent deals with the contract, he can sign after the World Cup. Only has to say he's happy to stay or not.
As mentioned in the transfer thread, the Torygraph are reporting he's after a five-year, £100k a week deal. Somehow he went from "Doesn't want to discuss terms until after the World Cup" to "Here's my terms" in the space of three days...

1. I don't like it that much. 2. I really don't like it at all. 3. **** me. That's truly terrible but it makes the first two look better. '
Reminds me of the joke about a geezer being found hanging at home, wearing stockings, suspenders, a garter belt, frilly knickers, a dildo sticking out his arse with cum down his legs and wearing an arsenal shirt. The police wanted to protect his dignity for the sake of his kids so they removed the shirt! I would not be seen dead in any of those monstrosities
There's one slight issue with the home kit, though - people noticed it bears an uncanny similarity to this... please log in to view this image
