Apparently there are big doubts about sufficient staff availability for this game (catering, stewards etc).
Who'd have thought this could be the case on NYE ?

I'm sure that the police will really fancy the extra work on that quiet day, too.

I wonder what the transport's going to be like on Boxing Day? Should be fun...

The suburban train lines into London (including London overground)
are usually shut on that day. So unless you can easily get to the
tube network, then I suspect the attendance will have Deirdre with
his pants down and Xmas dinner leftovers in his other hand.

I'm not sure how close you can get to the Stadium by car. No idea how far out the CPZ extends and parking at Wembley on an event day is £40 <yikes>.

Sounds like he's genuinely sorry.

I accept the apology and will be back to singing his name.

Think I might give it a while personally. Whilst being sympathetic to his prolonged injury problems there are a couple of stand out points in that interview:
1. All his comments are centered on himself (other than praising Poch - see 2 below) and how he was suffering. If trying to appear less like a spoilt brat, it would be better to at least appear concerned about others - Lamela for instance, who has been out for 4 months longer already!
2. Another of his characteristics over the years has been ingratiating himself with coaches to the detriment of his teammates. I have no doubt that Poch has been supportive, but to make a point of how often you are in the managers Office is not going to dispel that appearance.

Good player and provides a different alternative at LWB, but definitely not irreplaceable - so hope he just knuckles down and proves himself to be a decent professional. :emoticon-0148-yes:

My gut feeling is still saying that he'll be sold in the summer. Even without that interview, Davies' emergence combined with Sessegnon's apparent availability means that it still makes a lot of sense to bring in £30m plus a long term investment for the future.

I still think we should test the Cottage waters again in January though. Leave it to the summer and there will likely be a bidding war that we won't be able to compete with. Fulham have suffered a real slump since a strong start, picking up just 2 points from their last 15. Could be bullied into an early buy n loan back deal.
