We currently have a minimum of 22 home games next season
(19 PL + 3 CL group) .

40K seats have gone to current ST holders. 5K to Wembley parish locals.
N thousand will be reserved for away support.

If max capacity is 90K, who have the other 40K odd been sold to, and
by whom (THFC, Wembley) ??
The away allocation is surprisingly small, IIRC. We only have to offer 3,000 or something.

The remaining 40k are up for grabs, I believe. Normal tickets at the moment.

Anyone know when tickets for Chelsea will go on sale?
No mention of any league on sale dates on website yet.

Wembley will be at full capacity for at least 27 of our games next season: 90,000.

There have been 40,000 season tickets sold, I believe, which is the amount that will be available at the new stadium.
There's been some suggestion that there will be one-season-only tickets going on sale now too, but it's a rumour.
Are you sure it is only 40,000 ST and not 50,000?
How many ST holders were there before? After all we offered another 18,000.

Forbes Magazine have published their top 50 richest sports clubs. We don't make it as yet. Only 7 football clubs do (4 PL) By contrast, 29 NFL franchises make it. Although United and Real are top 5, most run of the mill NFL sides are bigger than all but the biggest football clubs.

Both sports are seeking to expand their marketing all over the world. Getting our snouts in both troughs probably explains Joe Lewis' valuation of the club. If only we could get in on the ownership of The London Fighting Cocks!

Just think hopw poor those NFL franchises would be if their so-called sport didn't have ad breaks every ten seconds.

I thought away support got 5% of capacity. So it should be 4,500...
It's 10% of the capacity of the stadium up to capacities of 30,000, then it's 3,000 regardless of capacity.
Clubs can choose to give out more than that, but that's what's guaranteed by the rules.

Learn something new every day. Cheers for that.
It's in the Premier League Handbook and it's a pain in the arse to find, to be honest! <laugh>

R.9. Unless otherwise agreed by the Board or between the Clubs, and subject to Rule R.10, at each League Match, the Home Club shall make available to the Visiting Club:
R.9.1. 3,000 tickets or, if the capacity of the Home Club’s Stadium is less than 30,000, such number of tickets as is equal to 10 per cent. of its Stadium capacity; and (whether or not that allocation is taken up)
R.9.2. tickets for a minimum of 10 per cent. of the Home Club’s disabled spectator accommodation.

Cup games are 15%, subject to security arrangements, which Arsenal can't manage, for some reason.
That would make ours about 13,500. That's a lot of away fans.
