Aside from the obvious monetary issues, I think he'd be a decent acquisition on a months loan while we wait for Diomande to get fit. He wouldn't have to piss about getting settled.

I'd have him on a 1-2 month loan. He's fast and has become very strong in the air since he left us...just what we need.

I agree. It's also nothing to do with his goal celebrations, just more to do with the fact he's been terrible.
I'm sure if we are prepared to spend £35k a week then we can do better than him.
Heard a rumour we are getting Wilson from Man U. He was at the team photo yesterday. Hope it's true he's immense!

I'd still prefer a striker with experience. We have it in other key positions except for probably the most important position on the pitch. Someone who can mentor as well as play a bit.
Campbell didn't have much experience when he came the first time and he was a revelation.
Sometimes I think you need a raw speed merchant lad who hasn't had time to worry about getting it wrong.
He was playing off experience in Deano though wasn't he.
Partly I agree, but that's why we have Akpom /Diomande and Hernandez (still unproven in the English leagues, though he has started well) isn't it? I think we now need someone like Cole who has been there done that and got the t shirt.
