He could do a job for us, but £35k a week would make him our best paid player and that could cause friction (I also suspect we wouldn't agree to that much).
For £35k a week for a striker that doesn't score many I'd have to say no.

Correction: He WAS fast.I'd have him on a 1-2 month loan. He's fast and has become very strong in the air since he left us...just what we need.
Campbell, 7 years since he played for us
He was 21 back then
What has he accomplished in those 7 years?
I dont see the point in signing him, would be futile and pointless imho
If it wasnt for the fact he played for us 7 years ago, no one would be even a tiny bit excited about his signing
And no, i dont care about his celebrations
TFFT TWT.Bruce has just confirmed that the Campbell story is bollocks.
I didn't see Wilson at the team photo yesterday, but there was talk of a deal being close.
Well if City had the choice I am sure they would prefer WilsonBruce has just confirmed that the Campbell story is bollocks.

I'd still prefer a striker with experience. We have it in other key positions except for probably the most important position on the pitch. Someone who can mentor as well as play a bit.
Campbell didn't have much experience when he came the first time and he was a revelation.
Sometimes I think you need a raw speed merchant lad who hasn't had time to worry about getting it wrong.
He was playing off experience in Deano though wasn't he.
